yaya.. Kerinchi was a kampung area last time.. now become Bangsar South.. and the condo price there is selling around 1000 psf nowadays..

Good thing is the Bangsar South enclave does now rightfully enjoy the address of Bangsar South rclxms.gif doh.gif
Notwithstanding, Mont Kiara was formerly known as Segambut some 20 years ago. Desa Park City as Kepong. No? And I believe to KL folks legends of such transformations have been evident in the past.
Thanks to the rapid urbanization of KV, expansion of certain 'ONG' areas to extend their influence into the surrounding areas is just a natural growth pattern in urban morphology. A kampung of today could be part of a metropolis of tomorrow. Not something we should totally feel negative about, although I do hope developers have better visions, or 'creativity' when naming their projects and areas they are touting. doh.gif sweat.gif

It's just marketing, like KL South used for some Bangi projects.

As for address, Anjali developer prints Jalan 3/61 Bukit Segambut 51200 Kuala Lumpur on their brochures and advertisements.

Is Orkid Villa under Segambut address too?

Today went to Villa Crystal show gallery. developer even named its location as South Desa Park  doh.gif
it's cheaper coz price around 520psf only and maintenance fee is 22cent only.. Anyway, i still prefer Anjali due to its classy and exclusive feel..

Bukit Segambut sounds classy? rolleyes.gif

Seems the word Segambut is there if you trust propwall.

http://www.propwall.my/segambut/villa_orkid

However a resident should be able to omit since there isn't another bukit prima pelangi in 51200 KL. Just like properties on Jalan Dutamas Raya will omit Taman SPPK Segambut, shouldn't be a problem for postman.

Thanks

Changing the name to MK in segambut dalam only possible if UEM bought a big parcel of land to develop, the problems in bukit segambut is the development now only sharing by many individual developers with small portion of land, non of them have any plans to build a proper township. So we need to wait and c

Those are rooftop common area for all residents to use. Check with SA at gallery on units, here you most likely get wrong info about latest sales progress haha...

Don't know le...But is a good sign...Do you know that from the KTM Segambut, there is a flyover that mentioned can connect to MK, but after you pass the flyover, it will actually direct you to the squatters of Segambut before reach the Mandy Villa..Do you know whether that road will be widen?

The flyover will continue to Mont Kiara through the squatters land. The yellow colour concrete barrier you see now is where Section A stops. Section B is being done now. Not sure if DBKL will widen the road fronting Mandy Villa as this new road will take away traffic from the old road.

Barrier marking end of Section A. Beyond that is Section B, continue to MK.

Some positive news about this area, 2 July 2014:

KL Mayor Ahmad Phesal also has many plans to further improve Kuala Lumpur’s infrastructure.

“I hope to expedite the construction of the missing link between Jalan Segambut and Mont Kiara, connect Jalan Jelatek with the Middle Ring Road 2, as well as widen the Jalan Duta exit to Mahameru Highway that is always congested.
