ManutdGiggs, may i know where can I see the old blueprint of Segambut you're referring to? Interested to have a look! smile.gif

In KL City Plan 2020 the new Jalan Segambut alignment departs from the old Jalan Segambut which runs in front of Mandy Villa. Jalan Lang Emas will also be extended to form a new junction, taking up some squatters land in the process. Also shown are Jalan Kiara 3 and Kiara 4 which looks wider and has a junction with Jalan Duta Kiara. I didn't stictch the pics together so please use imagination tongue.gif

UEM Sunrise will extend Jalan Kiara 4 as far as they need to for Residensi 22 and then it's up to DBKL/other developers to complete the rest. On Sunrise's plan it's 4-lanes 2 ways. I'm sure it will be some years from now.

Regarding your comment on cronies, do you know if BRDB is influential? Because Verdana is supposed to link to the improved Jalan Segambut. Also it seems some owners of properties along Jalan Kiara also want the Jalan Kiara 4-Jalan Duta Kiara connection to ease congestion, do you know if they are the type of people who can make it happen? hmm.gif

Residensi 22 is located at jalan kiara 3, y they need to extend jln kiara 4 for that?

Giant, Residensi 22 has double grand entrances on both Jalan Kiara 3 & 4! Kiara 4 is the bigger nicer road. If got time go visit the show gallery, very nice.

For a very low floor 1878 sf unit blocked by neighbour condo's multistorey car park, it's 1.34m after rebate. At least 350k more exp than a mid floor Anjali 1788 sf. But grander and MK address.

icic, in tht case the anchoris soho also will be using the kiara 4 road...

I saw the pre 2004 blue print in 2010. Back then they din mention bout duke extension. So I'm not sure wat ll tat b. I was judging with the existance of prima impian.

Of cos it might not happen cos its just my pov. I prefer the traffic to go into prima impian cos I wish to hav a beta traffic flow along jln segambut. tongue.gif

This is a map of Duke Highway extension Menjalara-Segambut section. Also shows new Jalan Segambut alignment and new junction with Jalan Lang Emas (refer thick black lines), in line with KL City Plan 2020 diagram in previous page.

Found out not only Arcoris. Lot 1887 further up (north/left of Kiara 1888) also belongs to UEM Sunrise so most of Jalan Kiara 4 could be built by them.

this can really change the game play of segambut around. but the segambut-mk fly over has been delayed for over a decade and even if it is starting it halted at phase 1. any idea when can all the highway-highway connecting segambut be completed?

You're correct it's stuck at Phase A. Segambut MP explained previous FT Minister Raja Nong Chik was not a cooperative person. Now we have a new FT Minister Tengku Adnan Mansor! rclxms.gif

Personally I think they'll only finish it just before GE14 which is around 2017/18. So during pre-election survey please say you will vote BN!

I believe BRDB will appeal to DBKL to finish the upgrade quicker because Verdana phase 1 (298 units) and future phase 2 (400 units) is supposed to link to the upgraded Jalan Segambut for better accessibility instead of relying solely on Jalan Dutamas Raya.

Saw a group of men, some with Tago shirt, on the squatters land today. I think they need to do the road widening sooner than later.

Right now the road is just horrible, can't convince buyers.

Look further, there so many facts that North Kiara is booming.. 3 to 10 years down the road, it's going to be as classy as Mont Kiara.. it's 580psf now, who knows 3 years later it become 800psf?!!
4. Some more the local like it too because it's so close to DSP, Kepong (food heaven.. yummy..), Mont Kiara & Dutamas... No doubts, the access is superb!!! DUKE 2, LDP, Jalan Kuching, MRR2, KTM, MRT... going to work in both KL & PJ is soooo easy..

Where to find these features with 580psf nowadays if not Anjali?
1. within KL radius.
2. freehold
3. low density (<400 units): Anjali has only 365 condominiums, 4 penthouses and 26 signature villas only.
4. private lift + 3-tier security
5. 2 car parks
6. Sky Garden (personally, I like this damn much rclxm9.gif can watch stars at night + fireworks during celebrations thumbup.gif )
