FCW Holdings' 16-Acre Development North Kiara (future development)

FCW Holdings Bhd has entered into a joint venture with property heavyweight IJM Land Bhd to develop four parcels of land in Segambut, Kuala Lumpur, into a mixed residential and commercial real estate. FCW, which is controlled by old-time tycoon Tan Sri Robert Tan Hua Choon, is taking a step forward to unlock the value of its 16-acre tract on Jalan Segambut after acquiring the said land from its sister company, Goh Ban Huat Bhd, in 2007. The working name for the project is 368 Segambut.

Wah tis part of KL is gonna somehow b a bit like okr soon. Too many launches suddenly.

But yup the upgrade of access ll improve tremendously especially the duke is taking place now. So no worry bout it. Howeva, regarding the access to anjali, I blif the widening is quite minimum n won't provide a max impact for the project. Yup tago is doin it but there is a limit for the width of the road unless they hav gotten approval for a one way ticket kinda traffic flow.

Comparing the mk with north kiara (so called nowadays) is not appropriate at the moment. It's just like comparing mk to damansara heights 20 yrs ago. No one ll know how gd can mk turn out to b back then.

I blif tis part of town ll blossom due to the KL metro project.

And finally the fcw project should b loc nearby tan chong. Those huge lands previously belong to gbh is the reason latuk lobet tan nge nge bot over the coy. With the planned Dev fr face, segambut ll slowly become a nice place, if the planning if gd especially the access. Too bad no mrt.

ManutdGiggs, with all due respect, Anjali and the tiny cluster of residential does not need a major road frontage because they are not commercial.

In fact being in an "off Jalan Segmabut-Jalan Kiara 3" position is better for housing. I refer to TTDI, KL where they built tiny "service roads" for the houses, separate from the major roads running within TTDI.

I think the lands between FCW and the Anjali & Bukit Segambut cluster will be ripe for commercial eventually.

Went to show a friend the Anjali site yesterday nite, it was all locked up of course, but we noticed an apartment block in front, looks empty but in good condition, any idea what unit is this called?

Yup maybe but try look at the access fr Sri sinar sewerage pond. It's pathetically narrow. sweat.gif

Bro cablesguy, the map for FCW is a few posts above, see post #262. If you come from Kepong direction it's the industrial lots on the right just before Tan Chong.

The unoccupied condo opposite Anjali was called Azaran Hill condo, has been completed many years ago, left vacant and now being refurbished by Johor based developers. You get a better picture during day.

like that better get the state government to change the entire segambut to north kiara better , KTM station also change to "north Kiara"....

Boss tis part stil lack of proper infra. Mk and dutamas ll hav a beta Chansi to improve further rather than tis north kiara boom 1st.

Of cos I hav faith in the entire Segambut. In fact told my wifey last yr tat in 5-8 yrs the Segambut dalam should hav a proper access fr mk. Widening of road is 1 of the most important criteria and I dun think they ll build it along the current road. Maybe v ll c another new access passing by the 1888 or kiara 3 or 9, forgotten which one, then bypass part of the current road which u c a surau. I foresee it ll cut thru the brem projects and leading straight to scenaria and create an access to prima impian which ll go all the way to Sri bintang to DPC.

Not sure. Tat is wat I observed fr an old blue print of Segambut which doesn't show all tis new projects, at the same time refer to google map for biggest possibility of a convenient access.

If the access were to b kept at the current route, maybe it ll hav a limitation for future expansion. It's just not wise. But most likely I'm gonna b darn wrong cos in malai, those cronies holding the lands there ll hav the 1st say. Not rakyats.
