btw,where is the best shop (i.e: reliable no tipu2 n offer good price) to buy gadget (i.e laptop and prosumer camera)?
in general is SG with its GST can give better price than Msia?

I think it's cheaper to get in Malaysia but very troublesome with warranty claim. I get my stuff from Challenger/Harvey Norman here.

cheaper in malaysia, by quite a significant amount. if you're worried about warranty u can always buy brands like Asus that come with international warranty.

Asus have serious warranty 'cock up' issues lately with their service centre but it's a reliable brand. Most laptops comes with international warranty anyway.

i went to buy after work. i manage to buy saturday morning one back to kl :/

but i maybe vote in johor. maybe have to let go of my ticket >_<

dunno la. see how first. worst is drive down johor from kl.
