Well, it doesn't rain after I applied...so very hard to tell.
I do noticed that my Honda's rim become a bit yellowish, which did not have when I only apply opti-seal on it. Not sure that is due to heat or dust, but it does bead the water.
Well, only 2 weeks observation and I am already here.

It's the same glass coating that I'm currently using on the rest of my car. The original (1st version) Opti Coat and CQuartz lasted me around a month maybe two, others (not many) are a dissapointment. Note: I gauge the durability by how water bead/sheet so the coating might (or might not) still be there.

Wow.. was expecting more from Opti Coat and CQuartz since on the American and British forums it is claimed to last more than a year Looking at the feedback from KrisMas above, maybe the conditions here are too harsh for the coatings to survive on our rims
I've had Sierra Glow on my wheels, it's just another glass coating in the market similarly to Opti-Coat and I'm still experiencing good beading on them... never used any sealants or waxes, just a good clean scrub every week.

Wearing glove is a norm for me all the time when washing the car.
After I have all the spray items, I start to wear mask too.
i ordered a googles for my detailing, since water and sometimes minor (diluted by the water) chemical may get on to my face or even eyes... prolly safer to wear them in the future hehe
maybe i should get gloves myself too to prevent chemical harms on my fingers heh
Also if I'm not mistaken, that single bottle is good for up to 30 applications so if there's multiple cars at your house, the price per windscreen isn't so high. If you're looking for a single-use rain repellent, Rain Away is available in the Garage Sales section and it's pretty good
