Yaa..i speculate that the 1.6SX K3 will cost no less than 90k &  the 2.0SX will be no less than 105k. If the K3 pricing regime is still the same with the current Forte, i will be in deep shock actually. & if my speculation is true, i agree with u that our current Forte second hand price wont suffer much

The K3 will be at least 90-95K. Or no one will buy RIO.

If that's the case though, i still believe that the K3 price will be on the higher side than the current Forte. Anyway..we will know it sooner or later...

P/s : if Forte 2.0 theta II NA engine is crappy, i believe the same engine used in mitsubishi lancer GT is also crappy in your opinion right?

Latest i heard, K3 will be around 10k higher than existing Forte and still maintain 1.6 & 2.0. and 2.0 will using new engine.

The launching date is end of the year somewhere around October ~ November 2013.

Talk about RV. There is a 2011 car 1.6sx sell at 68k on Jan 2013 (actual transaction) and sell within 2 day. The demand of 2nd Forte quite good and hot, especially for 6-speed car. Dun expect when K3 launch forte 2nd hand value will drop a lot.

NA engine usually comes with this kind of characteristics. Go for supercharge/twincharge cars if want higher low end torque.

So bro, does this means the 1.6 6 speed has same low end torque with 2.0?

Hmm..i'm not sure u compare it with what car..but i drove the Civic 2.0, Lancer GT 2.0 before & oh ya..a Sylphy, all i can say is those car's pick up are more or less the same. Civic 2.0 got the best acceleration from my observation. Lancer GT is the slowest (in acceleration) however (Sorry Lancer owners..it's just my own observation only). So, to say Forte 2.0 engine is weaker than others is not a clear statement i believe. Anyway, if we are looking at the higher low end torque/power, the supercharge/turbocharge/twincharge cars are the way to go

the 1.6 NA engine performance are about the same for most of the OEMs... the gear ratios do play important role as well.. see below the 1.6 engine performance curves on gamma and toyota's.... the torque are about the same on the rpm range...

2.0T was just a concept and never in real product. Again we don't have native 2.4 Theta II here..if yes would be FUN    and all 2.0 owner will be diam diam kekeke...

After 6 months owning this car, I found ada dua lubang like ekzos lubang kat bawah front seat. Kiri pun ada.. kanan pun ada. What are these?

And my engine noise still there after I changed from BHP to Caltex... The noise like coming from under the air con, or gear box. Really sad
The noise only started after 5-10mins drive. Anyone know.. please help.

That's what i thought, i didn't test 2.0 bcoz so eager to own forte but no regrets becoz its still value for money 

yes.. Vios also can bungkus already..
try put Vios and Rio spec list side to side and compare.. none others in it's class has bluetooth audio integrated, DRL headlamp, sunroof, 6 airbags, push start with keyless entry (except Almera) and auto A/C (except Almera also)
