QUOTE(rognales @ Feb 5 2013, 10:12 AM)
just booked an appointment after CNY for 5k service & a few checking at Proton Edar S13.

my checklist
-rusty exhaust
-boot auto open
-driver power window gluk gluk
-glove box difficult to open
-flash HU firmware
-rattling sound from center air cond vent when blower is more than 40%

planned to do semi for this interval.
*
glove box - i had it changed, due to faulty latch
HU - i wonder when will the new version map available for update
center aircond vent - mine also got rattling sound when blower set medium and above, and when going up hill or engine vibrate at certain rpm

after cny i will be going for 10k service, and will be using SYNTIUM 3000 SAE 5W-40
next service will get them to fix my wind noise at small windows on the left side, and run channel on both RL and RR
and the center aircond vent rattling noise.

that day, i went to fix my power windows and gear knob, they change the gear knob, but when apply force, the cover will still come out.
not sure they change the whole set power windows driver side, few days pass, still no noise yet.

this morning, i heard a sound when braking to complete stop, gentle braking at low speed, and after park my car walking away, heard another sound. hope nothing wrong with, as i may need to drive to SG for CNY

Guys, had a new problem here.

Just now when driving home outside were raining. I noticed the 2 side windows starts to gather mist around the area where we see the side mirrors. I turn on the air-con de-mist function but there's no help at all. Only the windscreen mist were removed but the side window's mists still there. At the end I totally lost vision to both of my side mirror which are very very dangerous!

P.S. I tried turn on/off aircon, adjust temperature between 20 and 30 degree, switching between different blower type, all no avail...

Anyone facing the same issue?? And how to deal with it?

If need to go SC need book and now they are all fully booked... need wait until end of this month, gosh...

My aircond wasn't blowing at the window... The demister I used is the one in the red circle... If im not mistaken the rear wind screen demister is the one at right hand side of HU screen isn't it?
Attached Image

And no, when I drove other cars they do not have this problem, at least not until I totally lost vision from side mirrors

Fully town driving with average 22km/h would give you around 23cent/km
Fully highway, should give you 15cent/km?
Some even recorded an impressive 13.5cent/km for this C segment vehicle
*
Hi thanks for responded to my query.. Sorry im to noob here..u did said highway is 0.15 sen per km.. That very cheap!.. Lets said i drive for 200km.. I used about rm30 of petrol right?
