After Proton launched Proton Preve in Thailand last year. Headlightmag.com just already has reviewed this car.

This is the first Proton car that this site ever review but reviewer (Mr.Jimmy) once tested Persona Gen2 Satria Neo and Savvy.
The impression on these old models was quite awful. For Preve, he's really impressive, he say Proton is improving and this car has many things better than competitors.

Hey just to update with u guys. got my car yesterday iAFM + CVT.
chasis number is 230XX.

now there's a few question for me to ask
the speaker volumn is 0-50 right? but i can switch it until maximum or not? will the speaker explode?

and when i'm out, u press the lock button, the car will locked. Den if you press it again, the LED light will turn on. Why ah?
To switch it off I have to unlock and lock again. Troublesome eh

Do u guys use auto headlights?

Around 7 am I see many preve lights off already, 7 pm also light not on

When the car first launch I test drive during daytime, I pass by under the bridge for maybe 30 seconds the headlamp also auto on

early on so can show blink blink LED early.... really attact others eyes coz really look nice. shiok man. I buy this preve also because of this shiok matter

AUDI tak dao how much lah, cannot compare. so preve RM70k dapat LED also good then body also look sexy, better look than Almera (weak design look, front look a bit like turtle), vios pula design more worst year by year (how come centre front more higher year by year), the best design is Forte and city but price is >80k, cannot compare ... so you must compare apple to apple.

DRL designed mainly to counter mist condition happens in Europe even during day time, this is to increase the vehicles visibility throughout the days. A safety measure rather than cosmetic actually.

auto lamp is sunlight sensitive, not time sensitive. lol.. btw, its a good habit to switch on lights in shopping malls, other cars will know theres a car coming. 
that kind of sensitivity i think happens to most cars... ive tried lexus, vw, bmw. sumtimepass under bridge for less than 5secs also will auto on. soo, imo, its better that way rather than insensitive sensors.

You set the wiper speed though. Adjust the sensitivity

i mean, if i push it upwards, it will bounce back into the interval part.
it suppose to bounce back to the original position right?

Guys, there's this 3 "boxes / square hole" thing at the back where we usually put umbrella/tissue box.
whats that? i can open up but inside seems empty one

for responsible adult with kids, always double check child lock is on. otherwise regret the rest of your life causing the death of your beloved child.

ok some update, setapak branch called me, inform that my car still got oil leak, so meaning, bloody COSE didn't check and repair my car.
so they wasted my time and money go there. job well done HQ proton.

tech guy said maybe tomorrow afternoon can take my car, due to VVT socket oil seal leak. sigh. no wonder i saw oil spot on the floor.
edit: oh btw, setapak sc got nano mist, very cheap only RM19.xx. so i ask them do for me.

My colleague told me his girlfriend's sister very sick of her Fiesta. A lot of small niggling issue less than 1 year want to sell the car.  These kind of people don't masuk forum. One less non proton car owner you don't see complaining about their car. Now chassis number 23xxx. So assuming Proton has sold 80% of the cars manufactured, that's alot of cars on our roads.

To date, I haven't seen 1 Preve breakdown. All those owners I meet outside only thumbs up between their praises. I don't think these people are going to sell their car just because the power window got 'proton' syndrome.

I buy Preve cos it's value for money. It's turbocharged with the internals to match. And if the cvt can't be repaired like 'how every other T  H  W brand manufacturer will do it, (I assuming cos people say Punch cvt fail send back to Europe), I know a manual gb to fit after I  lower the boost and size up the turbine to start smoking every car on the road with an 'R' on it.

do manual preve need to re-flash/ re-map too? And when driving 100 kmph and u brake got drum sound, is that normal ? thank you

any idea on how to change it?and how u want to off the auto lite?

At least have not seen those got fish tank inside. Alot on the road but not Preve.

Wonder if the water seapage could be from the back of the light inside the engine bay. The water could be getting past the rubber liner on the bonnet and into the height adjster.

Sure can claim. It is not a feature in the brochure.

But how to make sure still got water droplets when reach SC. Park indoor and avoid sun till appt at SC?
