The thing about auto cruise is, some members before experienced a high & low rpm when on auto cruise. Having a bad FC due to FC is kinda new to me personally sweat.gif

Maybe the irregularities of the RPM is what caused it? hmm.gif thats kinda logic to in some sense..

on my mom's campro0 gen2 hi-line, auto-cruise "on" really save fuel.
on highways of +-300km stretch, i seldom drive without auto-cruise, within speed limit of course.

In my opinion, i found cruise control driving experience very boring and consume more petrol n not comfort to drive...

Its boring to drive but a friend of mine did mentioned that with auto cruise, rpm level is slightly lower than pedal press. I have never really comparing them myself as I just whack all the way. Auto cruise to me, mainly more set the datum @ 110km/h and accelerate/brake whenever I want and then resume back to the 110km/h swiftly.

I ain't no pro in this matter but a plain normal human being observation only. If the rpm is static, no sudden up & down, and like Allen said, if it does maintain below normal rpm when not on auto cruise mode, i believe fc will be indeed better too.

High FC may occur when the rpm of the car was not at its rightful place. I guess as much.

Where's other otai to answer this..? Hehehe laugh.gif

i agree with u.
may be the ecu is in learning process?

from my observation,

1. auto-cruise set at 120km/h more or less have the same rpm without, provided the road is level.
it may fluctuate a lil bit if there is gradient, coz auto-cruise tries to maintain speed.

2. auto-cruise cannot be set at low speed (<50km/h if i'm not mistaken).

but that on my mom's campro0 gen2 la..not yet tested on my mom-in-law's exora bold cfe..

hahahaha

very easy.
1. switch it on,
2. speed up car to ur liking,
3. then "Coast/Set" it.

auto-cruise can be cancelled by:
1. braking,
2. or "cancel" switch.

re-apply auto-cruise after cancellation by:
1. switch "Accel/Res".

it's quite convenient to push "Accel/Res" to gain speed, without pushing ur accelerator cool2.gif

no la..if u travel jauh2 mmg penat kalau kaki kanan xangkat.
try it. Sg. Besi-Ayer Hitam @120km/h FC 7.0L/100km. campro0.

(but hey, i cannot drive all the way @120km/h..if u know what i mean)

PS: I can't register with prevoc as no email confirmation comes in.. I wonder why...

Welcome to the club. For the glove box, it's not an issue meh. You feel sluggish coz of several factor. First you need to know that preve use drive by wire technology that already known of the lag issue. Second, cvt behaviour. Third, because of emmision control, the system works like that.

Welcome2! thumbup.gif

1) That one was designed like that (as claimed by SA). He even said all conti car glove box need to pull lever before closing
2) What chassis no. bro? This years unit shouldn't have this issue alredy.. But like what didot said, if u drove all those jap/p2 cars before sure this is sluggish for u a bit

Glad you're enjoying the car as much as most of us did. nod.gif

2. Sluggish because of the ecu/tcu. Request for remap when u go for service. After that we will see your post saying. "WOW, pickup is superb! Smooth! Etc smile.gif

I just remap and can feel the difference significantly. biggrin.gif
