I have the best FC with BHP fuel. Good power and FC.
Somehow a friend of mine mentioned that Shell does give good FC on highway, no power though in town driving...

Preve is recommended to use 10w30 APL SM grade engine oil, you shall go for first service soon, right? Aim for 5w30, 10w30 or 10w40 grade of engine oil. Be it semi or fully synthetic.

I will avoid Petronas Syntium 1000 fully synthetic (15w50) at all cost.
*
can u gv a reason why u will avoid syntium fully 1000 15W50 at all cost?

i just used it at my 10k service...currently the performance is excellent...much more better than my last 10W40 semi sythetic oil which is tried on my preve with petronas synthium 800 10W40 (1k service) and Shell Helix HX7 E (6k Service) . this is my first time using the petronas fully EO. some said 15W50 will make u car feel heavier...in my case i didnt even slighyly feel heavier than previous 10W40..but feel my cfe preve much lighter with 15W50 petronas fully 1000 oil ...and smoothier

i personally like Mobil 1 EO.even fill up fuel i never ever go to petronas station since my preve cfe been bought last year..always go to esso or petron station..and go to BHP sometimes if no esso station nearby...but just tried the petronas EO...and i thinks thier fully 1000 EO is ok for me, not like what other people said lo..maybe this is result from my comparation to semi petronas and shell EO...but overall it satisfied me.
im not a petronas Fan boy..just wondering the reason behind your statement.

my next target Mobil1 EO..if got more money..

i think you cannot take out the battery just like that, cos it might affect the system in your car. but do correct me if im wrong

syntium 1000 is the heaviest fully synthetic oil I can find from Petronas.

You actually have answered your own question. 15w50 is heavier, to me is a lot heavier.
Me using 5w30, another friend using 10w40 test drove a friend CFE with 15w50, we feel the 15w50 equipped CFE is sluggish in pick up.
Its heavy oil as compared to Syntium 3000, etc. And also why it is cheapest fully synthetic oil from Petronas, right?

I have no idea why you feel lighter with 15w50 over 10w40 but theoretically and scientifically, it isn't so. And my butt dyno told me it isn't so either.

If you ask me, that's a good FC for CFE. Anything near to 500km for around 40litre is good. I have no idea how some members can achieve 600km per tank....
*
for me..600km is achievable on jam free highway KL <=> JB tongue.gif means about 1/2 tank each single trip...

Just wondering, is your camera the ori-looking type or the hanging like buah rambutan type? I saw on FB, Etoni Chris' camera looks like a factory fit. But his place is too far for me.

Etoni Chris' camera are not cheap, IMHO probably of the pricier bracket of rear cameras.

indeed it is theoretically and scientifically said. and fyi i am aware of that..thats is why i feel a bit strange since in my knowlegde same like u..but after i experience it myself..it's different.
but i dont know why my case is different than the theoretically and scientifically facts.

be noted i just comparing synthium 1000 15W50 Fully oil with semi Synthium 800 10w40 and semi Helix hx7 10w40 oil in MY CAR...dont know la other brand and other car what the outcomes..

and i am not trolling this EO over some facts that mostly is true..maybe becoz my mileage? not sure...anybody experience same situation like me?

perhaps they give u syntium 3000 with a syntium 1000 label? tongue.gif

Test drove my friend CFE from Gombak to Bentong, the car acceleration is bad....
And he wanted to switch back to 10w30 in the next service soon.

I have good experience with 5w30, 10w30 on my previous ride but never try something above 15wXX as mine all city driving. I need the good acceleration.
Again, new oil will always feel great no matter how. wink.gif

Early morning did 10K service of my CFE.
This time i try Liquimoly 5-40 with a bottle of Ceratec. Very looking forward to test this thing kaw kaw.But immediate response with the engine oil is the car feel buttery smooth, even smoother when i did 1K serive using Shell 5-40. The jerking is slightly reduce also. Ceratec dunno how yet, cz this morning after service i fill them in at office car park. i didnt drive my car at all after that.Today is paperwork day TT
