if SC dont bother to change the window run channel/ rubber for me, how much does it cost to do my own?

i already mentioned and told COSE to change yet they just dont care.

its normal, coz not their car mar.
mine out from cose, got oil stain all over and almost lost my magnetrap.
and park my car outside sun tanning for few days, not even bother to inform me ready for collection.

all my big n small windows rubber like that, and small window got wind noise, they didnt re-seal the small window...
i malu when see other car window fitted nicely.

just an excuse from them, coz they don't want to bear the cost of replacing.
i checked the spare part list, the run channel,

and also, i suspect when they do something to my front passenger window, the door panel got rattling noise after.
my dashboard rattling noise become serious whenever high rpm.

wind up n down got sound, mine still has.

when bring friends and colleague, really embarrassing lar.

oh and about the radio reception, i think i start to notice, it too, sibeh annoying.

what to do preve only 73k worth the trouble.

u can try buy 3m tape and then use more tape to stick it rather drill holes.

if dealer branch service our car, then they should help with the warranty claim as well. otherwise might as well send to edar to service and claim warranty at the same time.

frankly speaking, i dont think need to install.

i bought the pedal lock - Autolock
now put in trunk hardly use, unless i go overseas.

just now my gear knob cover broken, just like those who had this issue with the lousy quality.

i need to ask, those who went to SC to get replacement, was it same day or need to wait for them to check and wait for stock order?

sigh, then better get it done before cny, my drive side window noise returns, so i should pressure them to replace whole power windows, really farking wasting my time.

i will go setapak sc try my luck.

most of the time i also hold the stick, but sometimes inevitable will press my palm against the knob cover.

it's the design problem, the clip that hold the cover too fragile.

the pic, i see only sexy legs.... hahahaha, actually hold like that will also apply force to the cover.
must use fingers to hold the side of the knob.

but real man don't hold like that, funny when i have guest in my car, i hold with fingers will be like girly.

yup go to cose is FARKING wasting time, i just drop mine at setapak, hope the tech guys there good enuf to get it change, and fix the wind noise, and the rattling front passenger door, and the driver side windows (hope they just change the whole set rather apply grease)

for responsible adult with kids, always double check child lock is on. otherwise regret the rest of your life causing the death of your beloved child.

ok some update, setapak branch called me, inform that my car still got oil leak, so meaning, bloody COSE didn't check and repair my car.
so they wasted my time and money go there. job well done HQ proton.

tech guy said maybe tomorrow afternoon can take my car, due to VVT socket oil seal leak. sigh. no wonder i saw oil spot on the floor.


edit: oh btw, setapak sc got nano mist, very cheap only RM19.xx. so i ask them do for me.

no worries u will get used to it... in fact most owner enjoying this great car, just hope proton improve the QC and SC service level

i'm using bosch aerotwin, using size 22/16.
but i noticed, if use 24/16 should be no problem for some, you may try to adjust the position of the wiper arm.

i wonder if use 24/18, can or not.

glove box - i had it changed, due to faulty latch
HU - i wonder when will the new version map available for update
center aircond vent - mine also got rattling sound when blower set medium and above, and when going up hill or engine vibrate at certain rpm

after cny i will be going for 10k service, and will be using SYNTIUM 3000 SAE 5W-40
next service will get them to fix my wind noise at small windows on the left side, and run channel on both RL and RR
and the center aircond vent rattling noise.

that day, i went to fix my power windows and gear knob, they change the gear knob, but when apply force, the cover will still come out.
not sure they change the whole set power windows driver side, few days pass, still no noise yet.

this morning, i heard a sound when braking to complete stop, gentle braking at low speed, and after park my car walking away, heard another sound. hope nothing wrong with, as i may need to drive to SG for CNY

try adjust the aircond both side, do not blow the air directly to the window...

if your aircond too cold, could be the temp control faulty, someone mentioned about it few pages ago.

otherwise, wind down your windows for safe driving
