QUOTE(Darkcloudz @ Feb 5 2013, 11:42 PM) Haha, u'll start swarming with thte discussion on this matter again bro. It has been hotly debated in previous thread as to whether we can or we cannot ask SC to change the setting of it, or whats the pro & cons of the current auto flipping setting and etc etc.On the other note, Good Morning Fellow Previans! Cloudy days around sogo area i would say. Happy |

The thing about auto cruise is, some members before experienced a high & low rpm when on auto cruise. Having a bad FC due to FC is kinda new to me personally
Maybe the irregularities of the RPM is what caused it? |

QUOTE(farghmee @ Feb 6 2013, 09:53 AM) on my mom's campro0 gen2 hi-line, auto-cruise "on" really save fuel. I ain't no pro in this matter but a plain normal human being observation only. If the rpm is static, no sudden up & down, and like Allen said, if it does maintain below normal rpm when not on auto cruise mode, i believe fc will be indeed better too. on highways of +-300km stretch, i seldom drive without auto-cruise, within speed limit of course. High FC may occur when the rpm of the car was not at its rightful place. I guess as much. Where's other otai to answer this..? Hehehe |

QUOTE(farghmee @ Feb 6 2013, 10:23 AM) i agree with u. Hmm.. Agreed. We'll see if others opinion is. may be the ecu is in learning process? from my observation, 1. auto-cruise set at 120km/h more or less have the same rpm without, provided the road is level. it may fluctuate a lil bit if there is gradient, coz auto-cruise tries to maintain speed. 2. auto-cruise cannot be set at low speed (<50km/h if i'm not mistaken). but that on my mom's campro0 gen2 la..not yet tested on my mom-in-law's exora bold cfe.. Nonetheless, it's for pppl who's travelling mostly on highway. Those who go back and forth from PJ to KL city center like me aint got no chance to use it at all.. Donno if there's anyone out there who could.. QUOTE(maverickng @ Feb 6 2013, 10:32 AM) i never use auto cruise since i get my car auto cruise at highway will cause sleepy then accident Ahahaha.. Good. U've just added one more thing to remember u by Maverick.. When ppl asked: "Who's that Maverickng fella?" I'll now say: "Oh, he's the one who brought a lot of tools in his preve whom among the first batch owners that insist on not updating his ECU/TCU as his FC is tip top already PLUS, he's the one who donno how to use Auto-Cruise..." |

QUOTE(ash229 @ Feb 6 2013, 12:14 PM) hye guys.. Welcome2! now I am a happy new owner of preve.. so far im pleased with my new ride (superb handling, cool features etc) except (1) glove box has to pull the lever before closing (always the small things eh) (2) sluggish response from complete stop.. but yea you gotta love this car guys! PS: I can't register with prevoc as no email confirmation comes in.. I wonder why... 1) That one was designed like that (as claimed by SA). He even said all conti car glove box need to pull lever before closing 2) What chassis no. bro? This years unit shouldn't have this issue alredy.. But like what didot said, if u drove all those jap/p2 cars before sure this is sluggish for u a bit Glad you're enjoying the car as much as most of us did. QUOTE(Kinitos @ Feb 9 2013, 11:51 AM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Confirm u feel less power than MT Saga BLM on slope QUOTE(bennedict82 @ Feb 11 2013, 07:11 AM) You should consider mirage, alza, or smaller sedan like almera or vios. Not much different FC compare to your viva. If you go for preve, prepare to pay double for your fuel bill. I can vouch for this. Now using ViVA in KL feel a lot more fuel-save than the time I used my WHite Knight before..QUOTE(didot @ Feb 12 2013, 12:02 PM) I wonder how u guys drive your car! Everytime I go back to subang jaya from penang, I only need to fuel up my car rm 50. With rm50 can arrive my home from permatang pauh! I drive my cfe rm 50, my swift also rm 50. I also manage to get around 7L/100km. I believe most of Preve owners are either they are heavy footer or, cannot withstand the temptaions to pedal to metal with Preve.. At least in my case the latter is.. QUOTE(arthur88 @ Feb 12 2013, 07:18 PM) bro, normal la...u driving around, road got holes/uneven....unless u keep ur car in house and one week drive once.... Yup.
