How much travelling is there in Huawei? Let say, one month how many days does you guys travel overseas? Is the US40 daily allowance covers supposed to cover everything, from laundry, food, taxi etc?

Thanks

Travelling depends on ur job scope. Some not so heavy, but some are very heavy.

Like my case, I was only in office for ONE day since Jan 1st, and that was to collect my air ticket.

The allowance doenst cover ur food and laundry.Others....depends on whether your boss wanna approve ur claims or not.

I'm not saying that 'work like hell' environment exists there but then I look at it a different way. High workload = more learning oppurtunities.

Positive thinker u r. I think it differently, true to say that more workload more to learn but there is an extend. I believe in efficiency, weight ur pay with ur job. Do u got paid what u worth? or u're being paid 1 person wages doing 2 ppl's job?

From what I hear, the pay is comparatively higher than the industry salary range and to rate the amount of workload is extremely subjective to each individual. And how are you to rate your pay with your job when everything's so subjective once again. As long as you are not slapped with a ridiculously low paid salary that makes your competitors despise you, calling you cheap labour etc. Besides, there are so many external factors that come into play, eg. career advancement, learning opportunity, travelling opportunity, exposure etc.

If you are handling a product, and something goes wrong, you need to fix it = work late nights

If you are in a project team and is closing in on your submission dateline = no sleep at all

So, if you are someone who's dedicated enough to contribute, not only to the company but also to yourself, then you shouldn't be complaining. At the same time, you have to know how to balance your work and life. Work the smart way.

Expecting a 9-6 working hours nowadays will only disappoint you. If you cant handle the heat there, then I guess somewhere else would be better off.

What makes u think that u couldn't weight ur pay with ur workload? Say, u being paid 2.5k for a admin post but working from 9-10, justify it then? of course with OT will be the best but bear in mind there r some company out there not paying OT even if it's a MNC.

Like i said, if u're working far too much overtime then maybe u should think r u being paid what u're worth or 1 wages doing 2 ppl work? Some of my company engineer might need to work OT from morning till morning, no OT paid. However their montly wages is around 6-9k. So they might think it's worth it since it's not OT frequently. But what if they r being paid only 4-5k? N some employer see OT as inefficiency......

Of course other than $, achievement is as important as well, personally i believe $ n achievement can be weight by what u have given. If u're working 12 hours a day but in the end ur achievement is no better than those work 8 hours a day then does it still worth it? It is the workload problem or ur ownself problem?Or maybe if u got an assistance could it be u can reduce ur hours n increase ur productivity?

N yes, HuaWei staff r highly paid.

You should ask, "in one year, how many weeks I will be in Malaysia".

Wah! That means the oversea allowance will be fat loh? USD40 x 30 days = USD1,200 x 3.8 = RM4,560

PLUS basic pay, wow, close to RM10k a month? (Assuming RM5k basic pay)
