i got the email once after my call as i request emailing in polite way (excuses such as poor VOIP audio quality, bad hand phone coverage, etc) and i showing my interest on that offered position while during the conversation...

just a technical interview only...

ask what is my capabilities, what i doing in my current company and what i know about the wireless technology...
later just ask what is my expected salary... quick and clean interview... smile.gif

anyway, it is still a contract employment... so my expecation to hire wasn't that high...

Hai all, I need some info from u guys. smile.gif


I got a call for an Interview at Huawei for Pre-sales Prod Engineer. Does any of u know what type of post is it? As I read its desc it sounds like more of technical writer..

Hows the salary like in Huawei for experience ppl...

There will be a team who will buy you air ticket. You no need to pay for your air ticket in advance.

You will not get any travelling allowance if you back to your native country.

hm... starting to felt that pre-sale product engineer wasn't a good position
as believe Huawei looking for new staff replacement due to the resignation of existing staff... sweat.gif

nope i dont have. actually i din apply for this job. they found my resume thru jobstreet cos my current organization field is telecomm...
when i read bout the job requirement it sounds very complicated but the guy told me this is sth like documentation writer for networking.. i guess so.. myself also not sure...
am kinda wondering wat kinda of questions they would be asking me..

that's true....I've been dealing with Fiberhome (one of Huawei's main competitor) staffs for about two years and non of them had the intention of switching to Huawei...what I've heard about Huawei so far is all about good pay, but when asked why people are still running away if the pay is good, the answers are too much stress, got no time to rest and it's contract basis. In my opinion, those who wants to earn quick money but have no plans on your career path should join Huawei.....just my 2cents biggrin.gif

I am a 22 years old fresh graduate, will work as Pre-Sales product engineer start from next monday.

They asked me to attend the interview of Application Service Engineer, but after heard the job scope, i rejected the interview coz the postition not my preference.

Then go apply global service technical enginner but failed at last stage.

Finally i got a offer of the current postiion. May be as a fresh graduate mayb i should work 1st and dont be too choosy LOL

Btw, huawei offers better salary compared to zte,I also rejected the offer of technical support engineer from zte b4.

Totally disagree about freshgrad joining 1 year, then, jobhop to another company.
Usually, I reject these type of applicants because they don't have perseverance and determination.

Suggest to work for minimum 2-3 years before changing a job. You could change job within same company. Why not?

In fact I plan to work for Huawei for several years if possible, so will work hard
Btw nobody know what will happen in future, so work 1st lo, mayb one day i can connect the dots looking backwards (from steve jobs) smile.gif

The reason huawei offer contract job is bcos based on project received fr customer... If dont have project on hand that time for sure huawei no able to renew his contract or offer him to permanent... At last still need look for job...

Unless the staff offered full time but still a job hopper... For sure i wont hire this kind of staffs...
