The director may ask about your academic, previous working experience, school activities, career prospect etc. Good luck

I suppose this travel allowances do not include the meal allowances right?
Means the company will cover your accomodation, trasnport, meal when you travel oversea.
This travel allowances just like some extra income for you

Hi, anyone worked/working/visited Huawei's offices in Africa?

i.e. Offices in countries like
Algeria
Angola
Botswana
Egypt
Kenya
Madagascar
Mauritania
Mauritius
Mozambique
Namibia
Nigeria
South Africa
Tunisia
Uganda
Zambia
Zimbabwe

Huawei offered me a position which requires traveling to these countries, I'm most concern of the security and personal safety when visiting these countries.

Can anyone share their experience with me?

Thanks.

If they will pay for your hardship allowance, then they will not care about your personal safety. Work until the last moment. =P

I dont think that is a problem. My chinese speaking is way basic with mix of english and cantonese, with 0% chinese reading ability, Huawei still consider my application. Surviving i am not sure, i just gone through the department interviews but i think surviving is not a problem as i can see some other races are also working with huawei and some are with no chinese background. BTW, what position did you apply too?
