So does ur department requires you to travel to sites often too?
Will it be dangerous to be out at site alone?
As I know, Huawei have long working hours.
How long is long?

Thanks.

Mine is all three interviews in one day.
Pls brush up ur mandarin. China Mandarin not malaysian mandarin.
Actually how many interviews depends on their availability.
If HR and Director are free, then u get ur 2nd interview and 3rd interview on that day.

I used to travel to site alone, day/night. Yup, some places are quite dangerous, but u're more scared of dirty things than real human I guess. Got a lot of stories from my colleagues tongue.gif Do ask your seniors to share brows.gif But I'm not sure Datacom needs to travel a not.
I would say it's more to flexi working hours. I've worked from 10am-5pm(2 hours lunch in between) during no-issue days and also 18 hours straight in days when we have issues, 24 hours straight if we have super big issues. But I don't think you can really avoid long working hours in any company. Looking on the bright side, you have flexi working hours biggrin.gif

Wah, Optical network! Study on SDH,DWDM, fiber optics. basic principles. And if boss asking willing to travel, say yes; go site alone, say yes; go site alone at night, say yes. All the best! biggrin.gif

Hi, anyone worked/working/visited Huawei's offices in Africa?

i.e. Offices in countries like
Algeria
Angola
Botswana
Egypt
Kenya
Madagascar
Mauritania
Mauritius
Mozambique
Namibia
Nigeria
South Africa
Tunisia
Uganda
Zambia
Zimbabwe

Huawei offered me a position which requires traveling to these countries, I'm most concern of the security and personal safety when visiting these countries.

Can anyone share their experience with me?

Thanks.
