QUOTE(Erein_nic @ Aug 22 2011, 11:34 AM) I used to travel to site alone, day/night. Yup, some places are quite dangerous, but u're more scared of dirty things than real human I guess. Got a lot of stories from my colleagues Wow,,,if working 2 mths can get RM40k....why would some huawei msia employees opt to be based overseas? the money is about the same i think...I would say it's more to flexi working hours. I've worked from 10am-5pm(2 hours lunch in between) during no-issue days and also 18 hours straight in days when we have issues, 24 hours straight if we have super big issues. But I don't think you can really avoid long working hours in any company. Looking on the bright side, you have flexi working hours Em, the higher the allowance, the more risky the country but yes, I do have friends earning around RM40k within 2 months, but I'm not sure they are willing to go back anymore.. haha... Added on August 22, 2011, 11:36 am Yup, do call them up. I called up the HR 2 weeks after my interview last time and 1st thing she told me, "Oh, I forgot to call you" |

Hi, anyone worked/working/visited Huawei's offices in Africa?
i.e. Offices in countries like Algeria Angola Botswana Egypt Kenya Madagascar Mauritania Mauritius Mozambique Namibia Nigeria South Africa Tunisia Uganda Zambia Zimbabwe Huawei offered me a position which requires traveling to these countries, I'm most concern of the security and personal safety when visiting these countries. Can anyone share their experience with me? Thanks. |
