The figure will disappointing u... it will definitely not gonna happen on a fresh grad employee... the avg net pay is abt 8K (including 10 mths of travelling allowance, year end bonus, performance bonus...bla bla bla basically everything), i assumed that the employee got above avg in his/her performance. Bare in mind this is the number before TAX and EPF deduction. Take home pay is abt 6.5 to 7K per mth.... It will be different story if the guy staying at some high allowance country like Bangladesh for 10 mths.... |

Does anyone know the exact company name of HuaWei in Singapore and the exact location? Do they employ engineers in Singapore and which website they are usually use to make advertisement for job vacancy in Singapore? Hopefully I can get info here and please kindly share the info here, it might be very useful for me. TQ TQ

Since I'm feeling bored and sleepy, I'm gonna write some testimonial of my own on Huawei.
I join Huawei 2 months ago, Datacom MRO department. Money-wise, the company pays really well. Basic 2200 (contract staff - fresh grad). On top with 500 allowance (after your 3 month probation period). Plus, petrol/toll/parking all can claim IF you go to site (99% you're on site). EPF 12% (or 11%...maybe its 13%...too sleepy cant remember). Got insurance, mightnight snack, night shift work, etc etc... PLUSSS, depending on your project, you can get simcard with rm80 reloaded monthly or a USB broadband or BOTH..I got both..wahaha...anyways, shouldn't write too much info here if not they know who post this during working hours About working life/experience here, be prepared to work long hours..I've been working since 10am...till now...1.04am...no OT!!...You won't have a life outside Huawei, everyday work work work...for fresh grad, superb place to start...but can you stand the stress and the long working hours? It's up to you. They give you alot of responsibilities and work even though you just started (be prepared to learn on the spot!!). Working environment...hmm...great seniors (can only testify for my department). Without them, I don't know how to survive la..oh btw, if you're the quiet and shy person, afraid to ask type...on your 1st month you sure die.. If you know how to read/speak mandarin, of course it'll be an advantage because once you interact with them (China R&D people), you can learn all sorts of things (can learn by yourself also but slower pace la). They understand English, but they don't understand our Malaysian-English slang, haha..too powderful.. Time to get coffee and work!!...yeahhh!! |

In dxlethal86 footsteps im gonna write my testimonial too...
I joined Huawei about 5 months ago as a product engineer in SEA region. Been posted to few countries..usually 2 months a stretch, go back Malaysia rest for few days den get posted to another country again..in the beginning it sounds great, being able to travel for work purposes, experience different culture but after a while it gets boring, homesick even sometimes, but part of the job...working with the chinese sometimes can be frustrating, knowledge in reading and writing chinese is definitely important as u need to communicate with HQ alot..i can't read and write chinese and verbally not very good too...but still surviving... workload is definitely alot..especially if it's peak season and alot of tenders coming in, for my department ot is available if u work from 11pm-3am...weird right. anyway this job is much better den my first job which is in a telco sub-con company....to those who wanna join, be prepared to be assaulted by chinese work culture |

hi, just join in to share experience.
just receive call from them this monday and go interview yesterday. i apply last thursday for logistic specialist. straight interview with the head and straight to hr after that. done two interview in one time. today call to confirm i get the job. i still not sure either to sign it or not. i still got another offer from a MNC and also another interview for other higher position. between, if u answer correctly what they want and honestly tell them if u got another job offer (must really got la my as stated above, just one day to confirm get the job. hmm... allowances really is 300 now. between, i only have 1.5 experience in the line so they can offer what is below my expectation even 3k++ only. is it good offer? hows the working environment of supply chain at there? ok? |
