19 Dec - Submitted application to HQ
26 Dec - AEON Called to verify my details
31 Dec - Received my Card.

But in the envelope doesn't have the voucher. But is ok la since I'm not stay at KL.

Will start to swipe it to reach RM3000! haha

The manager said it should be about one month from the date of issue. Because it still not written the date yet, so I she asked me when I'm going, Then I said probably February. Then she wrote 28 February lor.



Actually, they can courier it to your door step from the main office, you can email them cs@aeonmalaysia.com.my.

Mine is almost the same as yours but at Mid Valley branch:

19 Dec - Submitted application
27 Dec - Verification call
31 Dec - Received card

Called AEON to set SMS transaction alert to RM1 too. CS was very willing and helpful to assist me with it.

When you change your SMS Transaction Alert Limit, you get this SMS confirmation.

SMS is received, right after the CS is actually press "submit" on their system

I actually rate Aeon's level of customer service (not the normal call line but the one who contacted me as a follow up) to be higher than all my other credit card's bank.

Just applied the Watami Card yesterday. Heard from the card promoter that the Aeon company not yet providing training for them on Watami Card, unlike other Aeon Cards. Thus, they are not familiar with the features of Watami Card.

When i questioned on the Dessert Voucher, the Card Promoter was not aware of it, but able to find the vouchers from somewhere. Surprisingly, 4 vouchers were given to me. Lol...

Now waiting for the card approval. Should be receiving it in 2 weeks time.

Like others, HLB Wise Card n Maybank 2 Cards will be prioritized, Watami Card for other categories transaction.

I just applied this card yesterday at AEON Midvalley, 2nd Floor.

The staff doesn't seems to be knowledgeable about the product. They think everyone who apply for this card does it for the Watami. If they did a little homework on all the cc available in Malaysia, they would have known that they should focus more on the 3% rebate as a way to promote the card. I believe they would have gotten much more sign up that way...

Don't tell them the 3% rebate.... else they may cut it

hahaha, if every LYN members who are active in this CC section go and apply for the Watami card, next year sure AEON will exclude the 3% for insurance, government agencies and utility bills.

I have just called CS and the sms confirmation came in 5min after the call. Surprisingly efficient. Cool.
I must have forgotten to set for this card previously. The default was RM500 as informed by CS.

Stupid Aeon credit taman equine branch... lose my application form... called up the customer service said until today still have not received my application... sigh... kns...

I can still remember the counter guy look at me with confused expression like saying why is this guy rushing here all the way just to apply one unheard of card. He has to struggle reading the form and brochure to attend to me. Haha
Now, my card is on auto-pilot reaping CB quarter after quarter from my drawer.
Please... no cutting off that 3%.

That's why I've been quietly enjoying the 3% for 2 quarters already without actively promoting it in LYN. I'll blame you guys if they cancel it

haha..i have feeling they will reduce the benefits too after a year..this thread is running fast than before. sure a lot peoples going to apply recently after ocbc revamp their benefits. anyway, i just got mine today.

is Aeon Watami card the best card in the market now to pay for assessment bills/Majlis Bandaran?

Is it spending must above RM3k in quarter to enjoy 3% rebate? What if in the quarter I spend only RM2k, will I still receive the 3% rebate? Thank you.
