QUOTE(greenlp_87 @ Jul 15 2013, 10:55 PM) so just dload the firmware from the link goven n flash it thru blackwidow user interface? Yup. That's as easy as that. Have you flash? Or you better do it quick, or your router could possibly go haywire later on... See post #835, and post #839. Flash back to original firmware first. If it's working alright then wait a few days or a week (use as normal). If it's alright then you can flash to any other firmware as you like later on.

Guys, I'm using TL-MR3420 V2(stock firmware) with Huawei E398(firmware version:11.433.61.10.55). Everyday my connection will disconnected for several times, and have to reboot my MR3420 V2 then only can get back the connection. Everytime when my connection lost, I enter the TP-Link router setup page, under the status tab, 3G there shown disconnected. Is there any way to fix this problem? Like always connected to internet, or auto reconnect back to internet after disconnected? Thx in advance

QUOTE(gskow @ Jul 17 2013, 01:36 PM) @greenlp_87 Yes. It's a good practice to do a factory reset to restore router to default configuration. Just for safety.

Instruction's on the ROOter homepage. DISCLAIMER: Do it at your own risk! Flashing a new firmware always carries a risk to brick your router. So, make all possible preparation b4 / during / after flash, just to be sure. This post has been edited by iOnicStorm: Jul 19 2013, 11:16 PM

QUOTE(thpace @ Jul 17 2013, 07:13 PM) anyone used the multiwan feature? want to connect 3G and streamyx together Could be done successfully with a vanilla OpenWRT. Multiwan should be OK with 2 different ISP, whether backup/fail-over or load balancing. Last time tried multiwan load balancing on streamyx (ADSL + WiFi) with no success... Now playing around with macvlan + multiwan... For reference -> http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/uci/multiwanWindows users can try Connectify Dispatch. Just for safety. exactly, just make sure use the right firmware for ur router BTW is there anyway anyway to lock the modem to connect to one cell id/tower only? coz my modem keeps changing on connecting to 2 different tower in which one is fast and second one so slow....

What steps you took that to brick-en it ? I guess its only soft bricked and can be rescue via some shortening of the mobo
