QUOTE(iOnicStorm @ Jul 17 2013, 08:17 PM) Could be done successfully with a vanilla OpenWRT. Multiwan should be OK with 2 different ISP, whether backup/fail-over or load balancing. how your speed test? Last time tried multiwan load balancing on streamyx (ADSL + WiFi) with no success... Now playing around with macvlan + multiwan... For reference -> http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/uci/multiwan Windows users can try Connectify Dispatch. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 12 2013, 10:12 PM) Back to stock firmware and I can happily connect to these two LTE modems. i using mr3020 with stock firmware with e398 (LTE Network)The best thing is stock can connect to LTE speed. I'm using V1. connect direct pc get 35Mbps, on MR3020 (latest stock firmware) 32Mbps speed Ping increase only by 2ms (wifi) i would say MR3020 is not as bad as ppl describe it to be. As long as you upgrade to the latest firmware. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 12 2013, 10:59 PM) Very easy only. u mean the stock fimware section?Go to http://www.ofmodemsandmen.com/downloads.html Choose your router, download the bin file. Then just flash the firmware? Then it will restart after it is done. That's all. just download stock fimware -> flash under "Update" on rooter? QUOTE(blacktubi @ Sep 13 2013, 12:25 AM) i got mine slightly cheaper so far i only notice drop in 1 or 2mbps in speed and 2 to 3ms increase in ping. Wifi coverage not very good well because there no external antenna but should be enough to cover a entire floor. Best you can just hook it up to a network switch or another better wireless router. But the main reason why i buy is my own home-made personal Mifi. Just plug it into a power bank or car charger and it work wonderfully. One thing i dislike however it how cheap it feel. It cheap but TP-Link should at least increase its built quality. It like if its were to drop onto the floor it would break into a thousand pieces. |

QUOTE(digilife @ Sep 13 2013, 12:40 AM) the stock firmware is like comparable to rooter ad.at least it can adjust custom dns directly on it. Plus, tp-link upgraded the firmware not to use the slower protocol like the reason rooter was built to overcome. In overall, from ON to Online.. take less than 45 second |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 13 2013, 12:50 AM) No, the first chart. It says this: "The latest Huntsman version will contain all the features listed above for all models of routers." i mean from how to flash from huntman to stock tplink firmware? That's the table. Choose your model and the version of the firmware. Most of us go for Hunstman. |

online and connect to LTE on stock mr3020 firmware less than 1 min.
only downside is wireless coverage is limited. |
