first of all u need to download the V2 openwrt firmware from here :openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-mr3420-v2-squashfs-factory.bin (3.8MB)

make sure u plug in Lan cable to your V2 connection, then follow the video tutor below :

News, News, News.  rclxms.gif

The long awaited MR3420V2 firmware is now available for download.

And the preliminary version of BlackWidow is also available.

This can be flashed while keeping your old config files since there are only changes to a few scripts.

BlackWidow has a better modem detection scheme that uses the attached drivers to determine which protocol to use. "No more specific support for individual modems except for a few oddballs", to steal a quote from Billion.

If you have a E392 or E3276 then this is the firmware for you.

It has been tested with the Sierra 320U for Direct IP, the MF668 for QMI and various modems for PPP. All are detected correctly so the NCM detection should also work.

Yes. The modem list is heresmile.gif
This is the link to the new BlackWidow firmware. Simply flash an existing Spider ROOTer and keep the configuration scripts.
It is essentially a beta release, to overcome serious deficiencies in the modem detection scripts in Redback.

It may have bugs as the method of modem recognition has been altered. It has already been tested on a limited set of modems.

The new MR3420 V2 ROOTer works fine.  rclxms.gif

Over to you guys to test and play.  notworthy.gif

Could be done successfully with a vanilla OpenWRT. Multiwan should be OK with 2 different ISP, whether backup/fail-over or load balancing.

Last time tried multiwan load balancing on streamyx (ADSL + WiFi) with no success...
Now playing around with macvlan + multiwan... brows.gif

For reference -> http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/uci/multiwan
Windows users can try Connectify Dispatch.
