Dear Asus Malaysia ASUSmy, I am currently using the ASUS RT-N14UHP router at the office for a small setup. Currently with the latest firmware installed, my office's iOS devices are having issues connecting to it via Wifi. Everytime I connect to the wifi the iOS device loses connection and doesn't connect to it anymore.

I tried for the past 4 hours trying to troubleshoot from factory resetting both the iOS device as well as the router. Tried multiple different settings and still have connectivity issues with the router.

I brought the iPads home and tested it with my RT-AC68U at home as well as my Asus Lyra Mesh setup at home and both the iPads connected fine with them and never disconnected at all.

I am quite stumped with the issue, hope that perhaps somewhere someone else also faces the same problem as me and there is a fix for it.

Thanks

Get a new router. Why are you even using that basic router for office use? Get something better and more powerful for your company’s use.

Anyone can share their UTorrent Port Forwarding configuration in their ASUS routers?
I've tried everything aside from disabling the Windows 10 firewall to open the port but UTorrent still say that my port is not open

Don't tell me to go into PortForward website, already done that, still doesn't work
It used to work on my RT-AC68U but after I switch to RT-AC86U then to GT-AC5300, it no longer works

On Windows 10 by the way

What do you mean by that? Care to clarify?
If you meant changing the TM's DNS to google / cloudfare DNS, already done that

Hi all.

My router is RT-AC55UHP with the latest firmware, recently switched from Unifi to Maxis.

I noticed I got disconnection problem everyday, although sometimes not in the middle of using.
Really wish to figure out what was going on?
If the router's problem or the ISP was causing this?

Here's a portion of router log file:

That's one way but the router is only used for display devices (e.g. iPads in this case to show meeting room availability). And only two iPads at the moment use it.

The connection is not meant for general use but purely just for a small data to be sent to the display iPads. The office already uses Cisco Access points and Ruckus APs for the main heavy usage.

I currently use the RT-AC68U and Windows 10. I don't even port forward anything and UTorrent doesn't give me that message.

ASUSmy

I notice GT-AC5300 has released a firmware. Just wondering will my setting reset once I update to the latest firmware?

Hi G K Lai,

From the log given, it seen like the router detected disconnection from the modem, is the DSL signal from the modem are okay when the problem happen?

Dec 8 02:54:16 pppd[445]: Serial link appears to be disconnected.

Hi Mavik,

Can you try selecting the WiFi Authentication Method as WPA-AUTO-Personal and the WPA Encryption as TKIP+AES.

Thank you
