Hi,

May I ask that is there any ASUS router that support 3g or 4g as backup internet?
*
Hi coople,

Most of the model with USB port will have this feature.

Do let me know what model you looking for and I will help check.

Thank you

Are you on 2.4GHz or 5GHz? It will be harder to hit the full 50 on 2.4GHz.

Hi guys im using RT-N14UHP.

After upgrade unifi 30Mb to 50Mb, I notice my wifi cant hit 50Mb, only max 32.74mbps.

Using LAN cable almot 51 > 53Mbps

Do i need configure something in the router ?

Current Firmware Version:3.0.0.4.380_8015
*
unfortunately RT-N14UHP does not have 5ghz wireless but 2.4ghz should not be a problem to hit 50 mbps....or maybe too far from router weak signal ?

Or maybe area too congested, and full of interference.

as already said, u CAN get full 50mpbs with wifi.

asus routers do not need much tweaking; pretty much optimized with auto settings out of the box.

and do not worry too much about interference unless u r talking about a dead spot in a blind corner or live in a 300sqft apt with 100 users within 100 ft.

yr 14uhp is good.

my old small bro 12hp also can get full 50 at 50ft.

if u can't get, i can only suspect the device u r using is OLD.

test with a newer device, test 5ft, 20ft, 50 ft.

Hi coople,

For RT-AC1200G+, due to this model don't have Dual-WAN feature, you will need to do it manually if something happen on the main line.

Here is the video on how to setup the 3G/4G modem.

Hi coople,

For AC router models, you can have a look at RT-AC55UHP, RT-AC66U, RT-AC68U, and above.

Thank you

I didn't mean to say that only the AC68U supports this. Nope, no android phone with me now to test this.

AsusMY's reply above should help dispel any doubt.

I'm looking for 5GHz band, 3/4G USB and Android phone USB tethering support.

From what I survey, seem RT-AC1200G+ suite me. This model shouldn't be issue to let me share my android phone internet via USB to this router?
