Not sure if this is correct but I believe you may have an overheating AC68U.

Several questions:
1. Where do you place the router?
2. What firmware are you on now? The latest STABLE official ASUS firmware for AC68U is 3.0.0.4.378.4585
3. How many devices is connected through wireless?

1 suggestion on how to check the temperatures of your AC68U:
Use AsusWRT-Merlin firmware to check the temperatures of your AC68U.
Only AsusWRT-Merlin firmwares can provide you with the temperatures. Official ASUS firmwares doesn't have this feature.

This merlin firmware will it affect warranty claim? Great to know that it can monitor temperature.

No it won't.
Unlike OpenWRT, DD-WRT, Tomato & the rest of the 3rd party firmwares, AsusWRT-Merlin is based on official ASUS firmware but with extra functions, some bug fixes & tweaks to improve your router's performance..

ASUS themselves sometime use some bug fixes provided by AsusWRT-Merlin.

AsusWRT-Merlin is only available for several ASUS routers.

You'll have to reconfigure everything from scratch.

Hi ASUSmy,

Can asus DSL products (e.g. DSL n55u c1) be use as unifi router?

As I know the different between streamyx and unifi is the use of vlan tag and iptv in unifi, am I correct? And I saw there are vlan id and iptv setting in the DSL product. Correct me if I wrong, thanks.

Hi launh,

Unfortunately the DSL-N55U unable to support UNIFI as UNIFI are using VDSL modem for the connection.

Thank you

That's because you didn't do a factory reset before flashing.

Taken from Merlin's wiki:
"While it is generally not necessary to restore to factory defaults, it's not a bad idea"

What I mean is use the DSL in router mode and connect it's Ethernet-WAN port to TM provided unifi modem. Will it work?

ASUSmy At 7.58PM Saturday 27 June 2015, all of my wireless devices got disconnected from my RT-N16.
I've attached the log if you need it.
Check the last 4 lines, I've never seen these before.

Hi sHawTY,

May I ask, have you try using different channel?

I googled a bit while waiting my RD feedback, it seen like it is caused by interference.

Thank you

I highly doubt this issue is caused by interference.
I've been using Channel 7 at 40MHz for years.

And I have just scanned the area using inSSIDer, no one is using channel 7 except me.
