Hi ASUSmy.

why always getting ntp update?
You're not the only 1 having that NTP Update issue.
Look at a few post above you. I've been having the NTP update issue for more than a month now.

I'm using RT-N16 with UniFi Biz 10 Dynamic IP in my office.

There are none.
If you want more than 4 gigabit ports, just get an ethernet switch.

IP Unnumbered Address : aaa.bbb.ccc.49
IP Unnumbered Netmask : 255.255.255.252
LAN Start IP : aaa.bbb.ccc.50
LAN End IP :  aaa.bbb.ccc.50

[attachmentid=4482406]

and this is my router setting

but i'm still getting aaa.bbb.ccc.49 IP not .50

Hi nncchh1990,

The router will get the first static IP once you have connected to the UNIFI, and our router unable to support multiple static IP like in your case.

Thank you

Hi Guys, im just buying new RT-ac68u. Should i update the new firmware and can i update before setting all connection?
*
Hi satrycon_666,

It is ok to update the firmware to the latest as it added some feature and fixed some bugs. And yes, you can download the firmware manually and upload it to the router before doing the setting.

in the market for asus router. saw there is a AC56U and AC56S. another forum i heard AC56S was actually meant for M1 Singapore telco, lower spec than AC56U.

1. can you advise the differences?
2. are both compatible with unifi and hypptv?
3. i saw some online retailer (eg. lazada) offer better pricing, if i get it online, where to get warranty support since asus has no service centre?

thx

Hi niel,

1. can you advise the differences?
The main different will be the RAM, AC56U is 256MB while AC56S is 128MB.

2. are both compatible with unifi and hypptv?
Yes, both are compatible.

You will need to check with Lazada, as I know dealer are the one who post the item at Lazada. If anything happen, you will need to find back the dealer.

Thank you

Hi Asus Malaysia,

My RT-N14UHP unable to upgrade latest firmware 3.0.0.4.378.6117.

It pop up "Firmware upgrade unsuccessful. It may result from incorrect image or error transmission. Please check the version of the firmware and try again".

I downloaded the firmware from http://www.asus.com/Networking/RTN14UHP/HelpDesk_Download/

I'm currently using 3.0.0.4.376.4013.

Please advice.

Thank you.

So just to clarify. No matter where in Malaysia an Asus router is bought, if any issue which requires warranty claims, must return back to the dealer? Instead of direct claims from Asus Malaysia?

Hello guys, i just got my new router ASUS RT-N12HP, the ones with very long antennas. I am disappointed as the router is so bad even after reading all the good reviews online. The wifi is slow, even connected with cable its also very slow. Im currently using unifi 10mbps.

Compared with the default unifi router, the default router performs better.

so i would like to ask all you sifus
is there anything i could twerk to improve my asus router, theres no way a highly recommended router performs poorer than TM's defaults router. and i just bought it today

Hi shidiina,

For setting up Maxis Fibre Internet, you can refer to the link below. And as for the ASTRO IPTV, we unable to support it yet.

My trusty RT N66U recently lost wifi capability even after hard reset.

I'm able to access router configuration via wired connection and I can see nothing wrong with the wifi settings. i even changed the ssid and wifi password and rebooted the router. Still couldn't get wifi to work. Can't detect the ssid and manual setup also failed.

Tried to connect from multiple devices PC, laptop, android and iOS tablets and phones.

Any ideas?

Also is the new RT AC88U configured to support unifi?

Thanks
