QUOTE(sam240 @ Oct 13 2025, 04:50 PM) quick question about AiMesh: Can a Asus router (as main) with official Asus firmware pair with another Asus router (as node) which had been flashed with Asuswrt-Merlin firmware? or vice versa? Merlin did not touch AiMesh at all so that should be fine

There is no advantage running Asuswrt-Merlin on the nodes, Merlin modifications are related to routing and DNS. You're better installing Asus firmware on the Aimesh nodes.

Can someone please help me confirm if the BE58U / BE82U supports manual channel 13 on 2.4GHz and 149+ on 5GHz? My condo has extreme Wi-Fi signal congestion, and these are the only channels that are least congested. Have been searching online for answers without success.
