Just bought RT AC55UHP. Dual ban performance superb. Better range than my crappy tplink.

QUOTE(blacktubi @ Aug 3 2016, 07:04 PM) Your router is warm due to Asus routers come with a huge chunk of heatsink to dissipate the heat rather than some other manufacturers who don't even bother to put on a heatsink and the heat stay on the chipset rather than being dissipated. Thanks blacktubi! well explained.I would not worry too much about the heat, they are designed for much higher temperature than that. Just ensure you keep at a well ventilated place. |

Hi all
Im using AC55UHP. Hooked it up with DLink 850L as an AP. Hook up both router with my hdd, 500gb each. I can access both 55UHP n 850L using AiCloud. But then, changed to Tplink C5. Same thing, hook it up as an AP and 500gb hdd. The problem is i cannot access C5 using AiCloud.... Do u guys think the C5 doesnt support that? |

Hi all. Previously im using rtn14uhp as AP on ground floor. Now sold my rtn14uhp and thinking of using TMs free TPLink C5 router as an AP. Setting C5 only for 5ghz. Should be okay?
