Refer to your unifi installation document (blue paper) or you can request from unifi itself. Just say you accidentally reset your router and need the credentials to set up the router back again. Or another simple method is to gain your PPPoE username and password through the wireless router admin panel (also you can refer to this thread - credit to bro soonwai, just in case) and its pretty simple if you follow the right guide especially if you're a novice user. Sorry for the delayed response mate.  biggrin.gif

Thanks for the how-to, was googling online but didn't get precise info... thumbup.gif
And since my router not yet reach so not really in a hurry or anything, just want check which method easier to implement... whistling.gif

Here i have my home network diagram summarized.
I am currently having a mesh network as shown in the picture.

The issue i am having is, the laptop is only getting 160Mbps despite having good link speed (also good signal level).

I have set manual channel setting for the wifi (thats why the BW locks to 160MHz). Also i have disabled all automatic power saving modes.

I am not sure what else setting i am missing. In order to make my laptop throughput to increase. Its quite strange knowing that the backhaul speed is very high. Maybe someone can let me know if any specific parameter to check or to set.

Hi ASUSmy, the special firmware from you does not works for me as i still encounter above issue. I already tried download latest firmware for AC68U and still the same.

Obviously when running BT then the router will suddenly unstable - WIFI down (cant detect), wired connection appear no internet, then it will back to normal around 5 minutes.

FYI, I have more than 10 devices sometimes 17 connected (mostly thru WIFI 2.4 Ghz), could this be the issue? out of memory?

Reduce the amount of connections per torrent file on your torrent client.

Ideally limit them to 20 per torrent.

Hi AsusMY,

I'm using BRT-AC828 firmware 3.0.0.4.382_70348-gb917269.

Yesterday around 6pm my router totally hang, this morning 6am+ power off/on only it works again.
I suspect too many log causing it to hang? Can you advise what can I do? Thanks.
This is business router therefore uptime important, best if there's way to implement auto-reboot when hang. Thanks.

Detail
Yesterday morning our ISP Unifi was down > failover to secondary WAN UnifiAir > continue to work.
Since then log keep showing "Timeout waiting for PADO packets" all day possible due to Unifi down then around 6pm router totally hang.
Below is log, since 6pm no more lag because router hang.

Hi. I have an Asus Ac3200 for about 3 years+. I have unifi 800mb internet line. Never had the speedtest goes above 300mb. TM has tested with their modem and can achieve 700+ mb speed. According to the technician, it seems that the AC3200 has limit the speed to 300mb and does not allow to go above that.

Any recommendations. Tq.

I’ve got 2x AC68U units set up as a Wifi mesh. Upstairs and downstairs in the middle of the house.

Recently, I find my MiBox S and mobile device losing internet connection. Mostly in the night and some times during the day.

1. How do I troubleshoot this?

2. Could it be a router overheat issue? I’ve not equipped the routers with those fans I’ve read in the forums.

3. Or, is there any other idea why this happens?

I think you can check either QOS setting or Nat Acceleration setting at LAN > Switch Control. If Nat Acceleration said Off, it maybe the reason.

I own the MiBox S, it is a known issue with MiBox. There are a ton of complain about this on reddit as well.

One of the software update fixed it but the issue is back in another update. I couldn't remember which version it is but perhaps you can try performing a system update first.

I ended up buying a cheap Ugreen USB Ethernet adapter as the Wi-Fi on that cheap Xiaomi box is just too glitchy.

Thank you for the input.

Think it might be something to do with AndroidTV in general. Cause I kind of experienced similar with the smart TV.

In addition, my phone loses the WiFi connection on and off too nowadays.

Think I might have to factory reset and start all over again. 🤔

Hi ryansxs,

From the TUF-AX3000 until your laptop, how many wall between them?

What is the result you are getting if you connect directly to the TUF-AX3000.

Thank you

Hi sunn,

Try updating the firmware to the latest and do a factory reset, redo setup and test again.

Thank you

Actually you can just leave it running on router mode.. For WAN setting in TUF3000 , you must set for DHCP in order to get IP from B818..

Just let it run on router mode and disable the Wi-Fi function on B818.

For 4G network, double NAT is not a concern since your IP you get is already NAT-ed.
