MAS revamping their A330 business class.. finally..

Thomas bringing Aer Lingus DNA into MAS.... the seats are similar to what's on Aer Lingus... Kinda weird arrangement though..

Their partnerships and promotions are where it's best to gather BIG points, e.g. spend on weekdays in Paradigm Mall and get 2 Big Points for every RM1 spent.

yes, only 20% promo london on MAS webside

the Paris promo still nothing on website, but the miles discount already in place, you can check it out.
i got to know this because i called to enrich line for some inquiry, the agent told me.

very funny la... i check enrich redemption for KUL - ICH and KUL - NRT... both enrich amt required same.. but the taxes so much different. For two pax, Seoul costs RM 1.8k in tax and surcharge.. for Narita, it only cost RM 380 for 2 pax.. wtf?

For Seoul, there's fuel surcharge.. for Narita, no fuel surcharge... wtf??

to japan they don't have fuel surcharge.. but other places there's surcharge... funny...

Fuel surcharge - it's not Enrich, it's MAS. Unlike AA, they removed surcharge only for some routes. Whether Enrich or pay yourself, you have to pay it if it's there.

well i did paid almost RM400 for Osaka - KL per pax.

then i found out about the KL - Osaka was only 68.9 and it was on 50% promo (27,500 EM) so i just abandon my AA ticket and take MAS biggrin.gif

wanna ask if anyone has such experience, I have 2 different award ticket
PEK-KUL then KUL-PEN, during check-in at PEK, can I demand my ticket treated as transit, luggage direct send to PEN? Then I no need collect luggage and check-in again when touch down KLIA

some country got hefty surcharge and tax

just like LONDON,

if you redeem return trip KL-PARIS, vs KL-LONDON, you will see huge diff in surcharge and tax

Was it long time ago? I just tried and it costs MYR 177.90 for a return ticket.
