QUOTE(BladeRider88 @ Dec 25 2012, 06:11 PM) If your DVR can place next to the MR3420, then you can consider using LAN cable, else you can consider connect LAN to the range extender and bridge the network with MR3420 As for DDNS, i remember you need 2 things, port forwarding and get urself a DDNS hosting, not sure you need to change your private IP to public IP or not Last time my Fren helped to set the port forwarding when I was using streamyx. Now changed to maxis 3G + mr3420+USB modem not sure how to do it. Have u tried such setup with 3G connection? I tried register ddns host already n still trying to figure out how to forward port

wow the new V2 router firmware seem very fast connect to the 3g network on my initial test. However, after factory reset to upgrade firmware, it seems that no need e398 modem bin file also can connect to 3g, so we still need to stick to the e398 modem bin file from the first page??? or connect right out of the box? which one better?

QUOTE(blacktubi @ Dec 26 2012, 10:42 AM) No need BIN file anymore ok meaning i shall need to delete the modem and let it connect with default again. The slow connecting issue has frustracted me, hopefully it is fully rectified with this firmware upgrade.
