currently am testing my V2 + V1 together,..

still testing to see how to combine both of them to get Max performances

so far after so many combination i try since afternoon 1pm my V2 arrive with poslaju,

best combo so far :

Panel -> ZTE MF680 -> TL-MR3420 V1 ( openwrt ) -> lan cable -> TL-MR3420 V2 -> wifi/lan to computer/laptop/phone wifi,

wireless G or wireless N in TL_MR3420 V2 is totally fine, 0% bug at all

but one thing i notice that, due to i test a few combination just now, so need to plug / unplug usb modem often a few time,

after a while the V2 become able to recogise as fast as reboot done 100% but not able to dial the connection,...

i did upgrade from TL-MR3420_V2_120703 ( original firmware come with it ) to -> TL-MR3420_V2_120905

So now i will revert it back to try TL-MR3420_V2_120703 whether will be become buggy or not after a few time plug/unplug,..

for my V1 with openwrt, this issue didnt happen at all, i can plug/unplug as many time as i want and it will still recognize fast and dial connection fast,..


the V2 can recognize your usb modem in one second after reboot 100% complete and dial the connection in next seconds in normal condition ,

yea i bet if V2 support openwrt, confirm hands down pawn the rest router

which model TL-MR3420 u are using ? V1 ? V1.3 ? or V2 ?

have u upgrade to latest firmware ?

u can try to download E372 modem bin file and put it on the Web Gui -> 3G -> modem setting.

it will help your router to recognize your E372

New Combo ( which working best )

Panel Antenna -> TS-9 convertor -> ZTZE MF680 -> TL-MR3420 V1 ( Openwrt / wifi off )-> Lan cable -> TL-MR3420 V2 ( tp link stock firmware ) -> Wireless -> laptop ( window xp )


end result stable speed 1.7~1.79MB/s with super Lowest ping ever
( normally when heavy DL running in IDM my ping is 300~500ms )

Before only single router , look at the ping

can't find K5005 bin file though, only below:

for K5005, u can try to use USB Sniffer tools to create bin file for it,. try and see whether it works

well if u want faster detect, then u can try to flash openwrt into your V1 and see whether your K5005 will auto detect and connect faster than 3 min or not,.

from what i know, openwrt definitely dial and connect faster for sure

some sample of my setup ( bit messy with all the cable though )

make sure u download both openwrt bin file & stock firmware ready, just in case your openwrt dont work with your K5005, u still can flash it back to stock firmware

have u tried to use your other wireless device to connect it ?

try to flush your DNS yet ?

what model & brand of your modem ?

u can try to combine 2 router together,

Effect is a lot better for sure,

yea is much faster to use putty to SSH to your router and make your router update all the packages,..

have you try your router with other usb modem ?

openwrt is setup complicated a bit, using it it is better, because response of it faster than official firmware,..

and it is a DIY firmware, u add what u need into it,.

official firmware is a fixed firmware, V1~V1.3 version is laggy while V2 firmware is quite responsive fast as well,.
