The annual fee for the citi prestige is 1k? Possible to waive it on the 2nd year?
2nd year is a long time. most likely not, but by that time there would be newer cards
for example few years ago, platinum was king
then came titanium
then came visa infinite/mastercard world
this is mastercard world elite
i would consider changing next year.

how do you even get back your 1k?
its points multiplier is indeed low
alliance visa infinite too has priority pass; unlimited.
also, could you share your experience and elaborate on the prestige concierge?
the good additional benefits are:
- limo ride home w/ 3 swipes
- starwood privileges
spend 3K within the first 3 months and get a Nikon 1J2 camera with additional lens worth 2K++ (current value for bargain at lowyat is 1.6K). or if you think this camera is bullshit and inferior, you will get Rm900 credited to your account the 3rd month. so your actual expensive is RM100 + RM50 for government tax. book a nice golf session with your friends in singapore or tropicana or fly air asia to australia or something, get to use the lounge there which is shared with some business class airlines, then book a one for one hotel room, you can more than your money's worth. so far i have booked 3 golf sessions (turned down once due to full house) and used my priority pass about 20 times.
the plus:
mastercard world elite concierge is better then visa infinite from my experience
alliance bank does not give you the world elite features such as one for one hotel stays and golfing green fees.
maybank has this with their own program but the booking is always full and has a quota for card members per day.
world elite has a quota too but i believe the limit is higher judging from my experience that i rarely get turned down.
cons:
yes the points multiplier is low, therefore i use my premier miles for shopping
reserve this card for overseas spending because it gives better protection and insurance in case the purchased item goes bad.
limo ride home is nothing, it comes free with visa premier miles a well. there are tons of people queuing at the counter at KLIA pathetically? do you feel privileged nah....
