Anyone knows how long will a card conversion take? As mentioned previously, I hardly use those benefits of Coffee Bean and movies anymore on my Clear card so I submitted a request via fax to convert it into a Citibank Rewards Platinum for points collection on Tuesday. So far nobody called me to even acknowledge my request.

It is always better for you to initiate the call and ask if they have received your fax.

Better off for you to take time to go Citibank HQ card centre level 1 and convert the card on the spot. Takes the most an hour and least in 10mins smile.gif

I have just got my clear card last 2 weeks. It's 2 cards together which means I have Shell Citibank too which is not really useful to me since I have MBB. Can someone advise me if I didn't swipe my Shell Citibank withink 60 days and I shall terminate it after 6 months, will this affect anything? Will I be charged any fees?

There is this RM50 GST that you have to pay when your application is successful.

Generally, you can actually terminate your card anytime..but since you mentioned about 60 days and 6 months, is there a specific Terms and Conditions that you are referring to?

I tot there is this t&c which I can only terminate my card after 6months? If I am allowed to terminate this card now, means I will still be charged GST right? Because I did not swipe my card within 60days.

Where is the T&C? I doubt there is. Yes, you will still be charged the GST.

Hi,
I just got an offer from Citibank as an privilege for their CC holder, they offered :

Cash Ready up to RM22K,
Interest up to 3.13%/annum (if not mistaken).
Repayment period up to 4yrs.
Monthly ~ RM470 (for 4yrs if take RM20k)

Anyone got this offer? Is it true tht doesnt have any hidden cost?
Really worthy to take it?

Thanks in advance for any comment and advise...

If you're short of cash, 3.13% p.a is considered very low and you can use the cash for investment. laugh.gif

hey guys, i got charged the annual membership charges, RM 70 for my Clear Card. Usually, i'll make a call to waive it. But this time, the CS told me they can't waive it due to some bank rules. And informed me i need to use my rewards point to redeem. I find this absolutely absurd ! Been using their card actively for about 5 years now.

Anyone experience this as well ?

Not a big surprise as some forumer fed back that there's a change of policy in annual fee waiver even though it's not posted B&W at Citibank website.

If you're not satisfied with it, just cancel the card.

I have been paying Citibank CBP card using CIMBClicks Interbank Fund Transfer for months and paid only 10 cents.

Don't make any immediate interbank fund transfer. Just do a normal one.
