Guys, i saw the details below from Citibank Online, what does it mean by RM 93 only? Is it the minimum amount I need to pay?
I should pay in full as in RM 1842.21 right?

And also, I am using Cashback card, so the reward points is referring to my total accumulated cashback amount, am i correct?

Total Available Reward Points: 23.16

Next Payment Amount: RM 93.00
Last Statement Balance: RM 1,842.21
Payment Due Date: 05/03/2014

PM Amex 30K points were credited to Enrich account , actually 1 day after the transfer.
I'm sure I logged in since and didn't see them there last time !

did you guys also know that if you have a rewards citibank card you can still do encashment with the ratio of 200 points to RM 1 by calling citiphone?

of course that's only 0.5% and it is low compared to cashback cards but there is no limit!
this is very useful if you have a rewards card and have a lot of points, but later on you cannot find any nice products to redeem on the lousy rewards catalog.

That insurance policy called Credit Shield Premier is not similar to your life insurance policy. It is to take protect you from the repayment on any outstanding you incurred in case anything happens to you (touch wood; death for instance).
*
no offence but to me this Credit Shield Premier is stupid
of course protection is there but the insurance is over priced
so many people without life insurance, medical etc(which i think is more important) still take this credit shield program

especially young guys these days can be easily coerced by young sweet looking female agents with a lot of make up who cannot even explain their product well enough to sign up for this credit shield so they can maximize their commissions.

in the end they say citibank cards are lousy. they may be sometimes, but for this case above, the card holder is the lousy one.

now i received insurance policy called Credit Shield Premier from AIA and distributed by Citibank.

should i cancel the policy ? as i already have insurance from AIA under my company, and 1 other more insurance. i never received any call for any agreement to enroll to this insurance.
as per Citibank online, the amount of RM24 has been deducted from my CC.

please advise.

In short, if you always have debts with the bank then this is a plan that will cover all your existing debts should any unfortunate event happens to you. Otherwise, don't really see the benefits of it as the premium is also depending on the outstanding balance of your statement. I've cancelled mine after just 1 month.

nope, the installment comes from your main credit card spending limit, especially if it is 0% installment.

for example, if your credit limit is 90K, when you buy a sofa for 6K and convert it into 0% easy payments for 24 months, this 6K will be locked in for 2 years (deducting the installments you have already paid)

if you check from your statements or from citibank online, there is another limit which is roughly 3/4 of your credit card limit - this is for dial for cash/personal loan etc. you can try convincing customer service to convert your purchase to a "interest bearing" installment to use this amount - depends on your luck.

also explaining further for the benefits for others - the main plus point about 0% easy payment is to have better leverage/free margin for cash flow. if your intention is to use it to spend more than your credit limit, you have the concept wrong.

Berkshire Breakaway information is correct. I just confirm that "INSTALLMENT LIMIT (HAD ANSURAN)" is Dial for Cash/Personal Local equivalent. It's not for you 0% installament purchases.

No... it is better to pay using two/multiple card, in this case if you have cash back card, you can max out the cash back on different cards.
