Hey guys, new comer on Citibank CC here.

Just obtained my Cashback Platinum before CNY, since was in rush to spend money using the card, I ordered the CS to collect the card within 1-hour at Penang branch.

From my online statement, seems like I'm charged for the RM50 GST only, will they charge me another RM50 for the 1-hour card too?

I have spent more than RM1k for the past 2 weeks, so can I collect the travel bag even before the statement come out?
Or I will need to wait till the statement out and they post to me?

I didn't enroll for the Ticket contest when I spent the money during CNY, so I assume no sms receive meaning I did not get any ticket at all?

Because I just noticed it this week from their website, and enroll within these few days only... sad.gif

Btw, usually how much credit limit does Citibank gives u?
I got 19.5k credit limit... is it normal?

I received a SMS stating that I have 3 tickets.

I enrolled before previously. Do I need to re-enroll by replying YES?

Subject to these terms and conditions, the Campaign is open to any new-to-bank applicants who, during the Campaign Period, applies for any one or more of the following principal Citibank Credit Card via “Citibank Online” or via “SMS”:

Citibank PremierMiles AMEX Card AirAsia-Citi VISA Credit Card Citibank Platinum MasterCard Citibank Rewards Platinum MasterCard Citibank Cash Back Platinum MasterCard Citibank Clear MasterCard Citibank Choice MasterCard

Just noticed this. So unfair that Clear Master Card entitle to the sign up offer but not Clear Visa. And the salesgirl I think has no clue about it.

i called them to ask about that. the person dun know, promised to call back but never did.
i then called again, spoke to officer, she dunno also.
i told her this contest seems very untransparent, unclear, just a gimmick.
she promised to call back, never did.
my conclusion, forget it, dun chase it.

need 6 tickets to qualify, closing month end.
i hv 4 tickets, won't spend unneccesarily to chase it.
waste of time.

Nevermind, just forget about. I replied to the most recent SMS and until now on confirmation SMS that I have registered.

Not paying high hope on this kind of contest as I know that I don't have such "luck" in winning over a lucky draw thingy.

Manage to get my principle and 2xsupp PM VS CCs AF waived. But need to use PM to redeem for GST (principle2400/supp1200). Redemption thru CitiOnline requires lower PM 2000/1000.

now i received insurance policy called Credit Shield Premier from AIA and distributed by Citibank.

should i cancel the policy ? as i already have insurance from AIA under my company, and 1 other more insurance. i never received any call for any agreement to enroll to this insurance.
as per Citibank online, the amount of RM24 has been deducted from my CC.

please advise.

That insurance policy called Credit Shield Premier is not similar to your life insurance policy. It is to take protect you from the repayment on any outstanding you incurred in case anything happens to you (touch wood; death for instance).
