Hi guys. Can I bring my own engine oil for service? Will it affect the warranty? I am guessing as long as your service schedule is right and it should be ok. By the way is there black n white clearly stated that preve comes with 5 years manufacturer warranty? If it's covered under manufacturer warranty why would one care about the service record, because only extended warranty needs approval from third party.

Proton Edar service center permits own engine oil. Certain dealer operated doesnt permit.

It will not void your warranty, but in your service log, it will be stated "Engine Oil Owner supply".

this is the official n has been the only official prtn edar fb. The other one is not prtn owned fb.

yeah just got back from mutiara damansara COSE. salesgirl said preve disc rebate rm2k. rm7k rebate is for inspira 1.8, but no stock anymore..

and guess what??? RED PREVE IS BACK IN PRODUCTION!!!!! WOOOHOOOOO... IM FINALLY GONNA GET ONE!!

has anyone managed to install a sharfin antenna on the preve? would like to get some feedback on the reception after doing so

Hi, you too have problem with poor fm reception. I notice it goes bad when driving, most of the time it's fne when idling.

Me too Anyone found a solution? Would a longer antenna help?

reception is bad with the normal antenna or sharkfin?

Same for me. But only some of them are clear. My old waja reception more clear than preve. So I use CD and USB to play music instead.

hi. haven't been here since v4 or something. too busy with thesis. now that i'm back, i'm gonna ask a question which most of you are tired of it. lol

how about the sluggishness? A concrete solution has been found? last i heard, ECU remapping could perhaps help. so..i wonder how about now. definitely will help?
