Hi!, sangtupperware.

Thanks for providing some guidances which I've implemented to improve upon my monk, I appreciate it lots otherwise that char would still be stucked in mp8 so must try to attain at least 118K dps (unbuff).

I'm really confused as to which is best in slot (BIS) for monk's chest armor as follow;-
1. Inna's Vast Expanse that comes with AR so can reap the set bonus of 130 dex
2. Tal Rasha's Relentless Pursuit that comes with AR and dex so with the attack speed increase attribute hopefully can contribute to higher spirit regeneration since an overpriced mempo with chc is cost prohibitive.
3. Blackthorne's Surcoat that comes with dex and massive amount of vit as I've heard people say nice things about it.

anyway goodluck on ur upgrade...actually i really wanna try 3 set of inna's..for that spirit bonus too..but seems like im restricted on my dps requirement..therefore..im holding back until now...

this one...i cant really tell actually...

combination of 2 inna's (pant+cloth) + 3 natalya's (helm+ring+shoes) = 8% IAS (inna pants) + 260 dex + 7 cc...that will be nice...

but if ur wearing tal rasha's..ur gonna only get 8% IAS....which is my current build now....actually i was targeting to get 2.00 IAS on sword shield build ...which after that i now have 1.96 ASP....thats why i use tal-rasha's plus a minor DPS ofcourse..

blackthorne actually was my real aim last time...but i need to pair it with its duncraig cross ONLY cuz if i pair it with other parts ..it will jeopardize my other equipment like my Witching Hour, my inna's + bonus, or natalya's + bonus...unfortunately i need a duncraig cross with a CC+CD which price is 1B above until now...therefore i skipped that..

suggestion?..well look at ur needs?..do u have enough eHP (Blackthorne)?...do u have enough ASP (Tal Rasha)?..or do need pure DPS? ( inna's + natalya comb.)...its a give n take stuff actually...according to ur personal requirement..

Quazacolt's post and your response have been instrumental in my decision to choose Inna's Vast Expanse and if my monk is still short of IAS then can just upgrade the Litany of the Undaunted to Natalya's Reflection ring that comes with average damage, attack speed & either chc or chd.

forgot to mention...natalya's reflection got a permanent 8-9% IAS affixes if im not mistaken..

Blackthorne Chest + Ammy, for insane eHP. can get about 450 Vit and 13-14% life from there
Inna's Pant + Belt, for the dps lost from BT Ammy. IAS + holy dmg + 2% CC + 130 dex from set bonus
Natalya's Boot + Ring, for the set bonus 7% CC. IAS from nat ring helps too but a CC or CD Nat ring would be nice

If you are favouring for more dps, go for a rare dps ammy (9-10% CC and 70%+ CD). Combo with tal rasha for IAS.

I feel that Inna + Natalya combo is too good to let go for dps build.

...or another viable option is as follow;
1. Blackthorne's Surcoat that has AR and massive amount of vit only w/o its ammy (already owns an existing trifecta with vit ones) and
2. Inna's Temperance that has AR to combo with an existing Inna's Radiance and
3. Natalya's Reflection with average damage, ias and either chc or chd to combo with an existing Natalya's Bloody Footprints.

...needs more gold to cater for this setup. Thank-you for your suggestion.

thanks. if you're onto min maxing, i guess going further pieces of inna wouldn't be too good. as what other forumers highlighted.

regardless, chest is among the most expensive piece, and with a pricing of 20-50mil minimum for all resist, i guess i'll prolly only get it around 2-3 months later unless some patch changes hit and/or something expensive drops for me lol.

hell, inna dropped earlier this morning (1-2 am?) as i couldn't sleep (woke up at like 8pm or something lol) and i was happy until i remembered i bought my inna helm for like 1.5mil or something. looked up the AH, lol worth around 1mil or less. f*** it.

I bought my phy resist inna radiance for 8mil, sold to @craps for 1mil after switching to AR inna radiance.

looking for AR inna temperance, and the price is 30-80mil

my radiance is on arcane resist lolz, not too concerned with OwE atm, beggar monk and all.

i got armor prop temperance, 3mil lolz
now 100k gold left after banging some amethysts out.

for chest with AR, yeah ~50 mil would be a minimum, more if you going for higher/better rolls

yes those inna parts is 50mil range if you get only your element resist instead of AR.

looks at my poor monk.. i cant afford AR too.

pretty much my build is to stack IAS.
my build is based on what i can earn from my loots.. i guess can do better than that...

but it's gd enough atm.. for me. ehehe

IMHO Anything above 2.0 shall be good enough. I now already happy seeing my IAS EF boasting my sucky att spd to 2!
