I think the controller for the v2 is 2.4 GHz. Earlier on was tempting to convert my v1 FM to 2.4 GHz with that v2 but too troublesome tongue.gif
Some parts can be shared like the tail, the direct drive rear motor and etc . smile.gif
*
PM me the details and pictures. i'm really interested with the v2 and its parts. i'm running an FM v2, doesn't hurt to have a 2nd 2.4Ghz v2 laugh.gif . hoping you're in klang valley sweat.gif .

Just got my DJI Inspire 1. Firmware updated the controller and the drone itself. Didn't do much flying yet since it was raining just now.

where do you guys buy your RC kits locally? am looking for WLtoys V911 or Syma S107G...i know banggood has but thinking of seeing it locally first...
*
If in kl, u can try Penn Mart at Jalan raja laut. Both model is selling quite cheap.
Just don't expect to get expert advice there since you be serve by vietnamese staff who barely speak english or bahasa.
For repar i go to WSL toys at jalan pudu. They have part for the v911/2/3 and fix for you.

Important breaking news for present and potential future DJI Inspire 1 owners:

QUOTE
Subject: Important Notice for Inspire 1 Owners

Dealer should provide support on firmware update to end users
A required update is now available for your DJI Inspire 1. This update will fix an issue that some users may experience with their system’s IMU becoming uncalibrated during shipment. Please download the firmware package from the official DJI website and update your aircraft’s firmware immediately. If you have not yet flown your Inspire 1, please download and update the firmware before your first flight.
If you have questions regarding this update or any other concerns about your Inspire 1, please contact us at Inspire1@dji.com.

Dealer must supply free Propeller Locks to every Inspire 1 unit sold.
The Inspire 1’s propellers may come off during flight if they are not correctly mounted and environmental factors (including sand, heavy dust, or high winds) cause the motors to stop or slow down suddenly. To prevent this, DJI is offering free Propeller Locks to all current Inspire 1 customers.
If you ordered your Inspire 1 from the DJI Online Store, they will automatically be shipped to you. If you purchased your Inspire 1 at an authorized DJI dealer, you can collect them there. These Propeller Locks will become available next week, and DJI recommends that you do not attempt flying your Inspire 1 before receiving and attaching the Propeller Locks.
Future customers can get Propeller Locks from the DJI Online Store or at a local authorized dealer.

This and that video of a DJI Inspire 1 crashing into a garage door after the auto-takeoff shot it sideways instead of straight up,..... I'm not gonna fly my Inspire 1 until these issues are sorted out.

I think amcorp mall also sell the v911 as I got mine there last time. Not sure if you really want the 107 as 107 is not FP. 911 is FP 4 ch. smile.gif I was tempted to go align 100s but no regret getting the v911

V911 is a great and durable 4ch fp heli, had a bunch of fun time. I don't recommend Align 100 because had lots of problem with quick worn out motor, failed tail rotor, jammed swash plate servo and gyro issues. I had 5x unit of Align 100 before switch to V911 years ago.

Here my video on V911:

Any quadcopter recommendation for beginner?
Syma X5C Explorers 6 Axis 2.4G 4CH RC Quadcopter With HD Camera seems to be affordable.

Anywhere I can buy it physically? Found a lot offer in Lelong, but prefer to buy of shelf with some guide.

i've just started to explore this QUADCOPTER as hobby too...

what i found... lelong. there's one shop in Endah Parade selling for rm190. one of the better prices i can find for the X5C.

but recently, got intro to FPV concept. after some read up, including this article (http://www.gizchina.com/2014/07/06/top-5-r...ters-beginners/), i'm tempted to try the Hubsan instead.

currently looking around for best deal... and reading backwards (for this thread). wanna find out if anyone organise bulk order or something...

Short thoughts on my UDI 818A

Bought for RM152 via lazada.com.my  thumbup.gif . Very impressed on speed of delivery, just 2 days after I ordered (and this is year end !)

This is my 1st quad, so comments may be noob-ish. Have flown it 10 times now (ie: 10 charges) and getting better at it smile.gif good stable flyer when there is no wind. With even a small tiny breeze this drone will struggle, unless you fly it close to the ground. Batt life is around 5 minutes of flight and 40 minutes to fully charge.

Also suggest google-ing around for the English manual online, was slightly confused at 1st on how to attach the camera.

Overall a happy purchase, now hoping sifu's here can recommend good spare batteries for this drone

read abt this model. but some say its got FPV and some say don't have... did yours come with FPV -- meaning can see what the camera on drone sees in real time?

most of those cheap stuff are just flyers with a camera mounted. not FPV. FPV requires video rx/tx in addition to your flyers tx/rx.
