QUOTE(Chongster @ Jan 19 2015, 02:34 PM) I think amcorp mall also sell the v911 as I got mine there last time. Not sure if you really want the 107 as 107 is not FP. 911 is FP 4 ch. V911 is a great and durable 4ch fp heli, had a bunch of fun time. I don't recommend Align 100 because had lots of problem with quick worn out motor, failed tail rotor, jammed swash plate servo and gyro issues. I had 5x unit of Align 100 before switch to V911 years ago. Here my video on V911: This post has been edited by SupermotoXL: Jan 22 2015, 01:35 PM |

QUOTE(mydragoon @ Jan 28 2015, 02:06 PM) tempted to get the hubsan fpv x4 since i'm just an amateur and dun think i'll be spending too much (time and $$) on it. just wondering if there are any cheaper alternative that is also quite reliable. i'm assuming hubsan is kinda reliable. cheapest i have seen so far for this is on banggood.com. but not sure how easy to clear customs, etc... *sigh* plus, if need to buy spare parts, claim warranty, etc... :S If you wanted FPV with quality performance with less budget at hand which is far cheaper than Hubsan FPV X4 i suggest you try DIY home made a dependable FPV quad platform. Here is one of my home made FPV quad copter i build less than budget RM450 below (if you supply your own monitor). Its is an old ladybird V929 quad i bought from hobby shop and convert into serious hardcore fpv platform. Its only around 70gram full flying weight, long flying range, small palm size and ultra durable, can handle heavy wind too: but the X4 Pro is really impressive. i saw it can do waypoint, etc... wow... and i'm sure by end of this year, we'll probably see those that can even "follow me" like the airdog. Here my build log you can follow for your own DIY stuff: http://www.supermotoxl.com/FPV/UAV-models-...enu-id-119.html ![]() Videos: Here my video enjoying my FPV flight on these mods FPV ladybird. Most cheapest home made FPV quad i made with HD on board live video feed. So you guys can start building your own quality FPV flights now. **oh btw don't forget to subscribe to my youtube channel, lots more cool flying stuff coming in. QUOTE(amduser @ Jan 30 2015, 07:56 AM) i need help on choosing a radio control to remote control my camera gimbal, it is a handheld gimbal so it will only be short range probably 50 meters Most radio for flying models are minimum at 6 channel with receiver combo. is there any 4ch radio control and receiver suitable for low budget people like me? Best bet buy this : FLYSKY TH9X radio I use this radio for almost 5 years without problem. Its the best budget radio around RM250~280. You'll able to grow along with your skill without need upgrades. Anyone tried this "Lishitoys L6052"? I bought for cheap usd35 since it looks ooler than my old V929 and arrived in good condition from china in 4 days. Stupidly easy to fly and bunch flipping aerobatics in windy condition. Tonnes of fun for cheap and good looking quad. I'll let you guys know soon what i think about it after playing more outdoors soon.

Yes i get it from the links you mentioned:
http://www.gearbest.com/rc-quadcopters/pp_129098.html http://www.gearbest.com/rc-quadcopters/pp_141285.html Not bad, really good flying consider the fact its cheap and the shipping is really fast. I just took close photo shots of the quad details. The build quality is as good as it flies. I think i need to get another one for moddings. This quad looks good compare to ugly ones in the market. Controller also doesn't feel cheep. I didn't use the USB charger supplied i used my special charger charged around 30 minutes and flight time between 7~9 minutes outdoor. Yup that's normal for left stick to do that, the left side is for throttle and yaw control while the right side is roll and pitch control (mode 2).

I'm not forcing anyone into Lishitoys L6052, most of my opinion, test, review and past experience flying bunch of quads tell me that L6052 suit best for those who like to fly often and bash a lot. L6052 seems to share common spare parts like other quad such as generic motors. The plastic takes huge beatings too. I also flown Hubsan and Syma but for the price, durability and good looks L6052 is way to go. Hubsan parts are expensive and not generic while SYMA have complicated controller, jerky flight controller and some gimmick. Just google around or youtube L6052 seems to be picking up popularity among casual flyer. I'm getting my second one soon for modification. The frame design and controller looks awesome. If you remove the top heavy shells the quad frame looks like pros!
Oh btw if you guys getting L6052 at gearbest.com you can use this coupon code, it will reduce price to $31.99 so save your pocket. ----------------------------------------------------- Free coupon code for L6052 discount: L6052RX ----------------------------------------------------- Use it wisely Btw i'll be updating my website content for L6052 mods soon. QUOTE(mydragoon @ Feb 9 2015, 05:32 PM) ya, partly why i mentioned that is coz you mentioned you're looking into using this as your replacement. I've got bunch of Syma junk, later i'll post photo of my collection. Don't worry i'll make more documentation how to make an FPV conversion soon. Right now busy flying.. for me, i'd definitely wanna follow 'sifu' footsteps. that way, if i wanna do what you do later, easier coz got someone to follow. your comments on SYMA... i do notice at times the controls are not too responsive. but its first time for me. so, can't compare. but ya... getting a second one... and dem... should have seen the code earlier... that's the second time i missed out... first time, i go get syma then after that, see your post about the Lishitoys. then second time is... i ordered one lishitoy liao... now only see the price. haiz... maybe get a 3rd one?!? alamak... heh heh... QUOTE(mydragoon @ Feb 9 2015, 10:21 PM) a bit upset. thought fly inside the house a bit to do fine tuning coz I noticed the quad was simply flying around a bit. after one battery, still could not fine tune it. still moving around a bit. Yup its normal. You'll need skillz to keep it hold in place. Bigger quadcopter require high tech GPS satelite to keep it holding outdoors.is this normal or can good quad just hover at the same spot? ________________________________________________________________ Here i'm sharing my FPV flight quadcopter on 4K super HD camera. The advantage of "MODE 2" is once you are proficient in flying you can easily do cool "3D" flight or unique aerobatic tricks on plane and heli because one can precisely control the movement "independently". For example in "Mode 2" The other left thumb concentrate where 'you are going' (throttle + yaw/rudder) while the other thumbs on the right concentrate on doing 360 degree stunts (aileron/rolls + elevator). I can fly anything with just right thumb control while the other left hand take a break holding cold mug of orange juice.
Here is 3d plane all of us on Mode 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2cYZpWrzVg Another important note about mode 2 is its generically common because when you play flight simulator on PC game with joystick or real life plane/jet the control is 100% with right stick movement and throttle always on the left hand and yaw/rudder on your foot pedal. So you are actually controlling the same method as real one. Is if you wanna stick to real life and pro = MODE 2. This post has been edited by SupermotoXL: Feb 10 2015, 01:42 PM |

Yup, muscle memory problem. So for newbies choose your path because it will be permanently stuck forever. I have a friend of mine stuck in Mode 3 which is hard for me to train him neither other can help him to progress his flight. Mode 3 and Mode 4 is super rare.

QUOTE(mydragoon @ Feb 10 2015, 02:28 PM) @SupermotoXL the TH9X transmitter... seems now i see the prices... almost usd90+... that's like rm300+... ouch. is the mode fixed? can change? coz like on the Syma controller i have atm, can change mode. The mode can be easily change mechanically inside TH9X, you can check lots of youtube video tutorial on how to change the modes. Last time i bought Mode 1 and after minutes i got my self changed to mode 2 using just screw driver. TH9X have back removable radio module so good for future upgrade to long range FrSky, DSM Spektrum or other radio module choice of your choice for pro level upgrades. TH9X should cost around RM250 if you can find good local bargain. You can also upgrade to latest firmware with lots pf features. So this is perfect affordable radio that you can grow along. I have 3x TH9x fully active and great range. The receiver also very cheap for only RM35. You can also Bind to WL-Toys models like V911, V939, V929 and WL-Toys planes and boat. QUOTE(mydragoon @ Feb 10 2015, 02:50 PM) thanks... and wah... 8AA batteries?!? yikes... what's the diff with th9x besides the extra channels? anyway, i'll probably google as well. Just get TH9x (Turnigy 9x@Flysky 9x) because its best affordable and also pro-level since it was build by open source hardware. This transmitter will last you another 5~8 years and able to add-on technology upgrades. This transmitter can "grow" as you progress higher by using software upgrades and community mods. got it. well... i'm still very new so not sure if i wanna invest that much. but if i do, any website that sells just the drone (without the transmitter)? coz thinking if i do get, i dun wanna have so many bundled TX lying around at home. can also save $$$. This radio have huge community base mods, I have flown with this radio for 12km with home upgrades. This radio support 4-9ch receiver from hobby king, Flysky, Turnigy and RICCS. RM250-300 is cheaper than RM1000/+ Futaba or Walkera. Btw i got 3x set of TH9x/TGY9x. Check here: https://code.google.com/p/th9x/ http://openrcforums.com/forum/index.php My friend have a 9x that can talk with boards upgrade. QUOTE(mydragoon @ Feb 13 2015, 01:03 PM) i see... hoping to get some confirmation from him on this... esepcially for the lishitoys once since he said in his blog that he's planning to use this to replace the ladybug. coz if that's the case, and if i do wanna invest more in this hobby, i'll probably wanna follow what he does. Hey i'm back...was busy flying and blogging another quad into my website. Btw for L6052 i intend to use original controller not using 9X transmitter, just keep it simple and fun for future FPV setup because the original controller still reliable. If you intend to use Turnigy/Flysky 9X transmitter on bunch of bugs usually some manufacturer build special radio transmitter that you can hook to your 9X radio for immediate binding to non-standard toy quadcopter for example this one : http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/_..._Bot_Micro.html I'm still gathering some FPV item to convert L6052, so far nano video transmitter just arrived, just waiting for camera. I knew this thing will happen one day, it seems that the occurrence of people flying without common sense have been increasing lately since any multi-rotor drone can be flown without learning experience and now it can be bought in any hobby store or mall. Imagine if that Phantom 2 hit by "flyaway" error on GPS he'll be in panic mode.

QUOTE(eric.hishamuddin @ Mar 15 2015, 01:06 PM) Yes you can have FPV drone under RM450 you have two route:1. DIY build: Which is you can select best parts combine that meets your budget still offer good quality FPV performance. Here is my FPV drone build blog under RM450 provided you used cheap car LCD for main display and original controller. DIY building log: http://www.supermotoxl.com/FPV/UAV-models-...enu-id-119.html 2. Out of the box ready to fly....but bleaky performance. You can buy it online here around RM340: http://www.banggood.com/SKY-Hawkeye-HM1315...6363706201312DW or This one around RM429: http://www.banggood.com/JJRC-V686-5_8G-FPV...6363706201312DW This post has been edited by SupermotoXL: Mar 16 2015, 04:30 PM |
