Just got my X4 from Cyntrix. I must say the sound quality is freaking awesome even without proper burn in. Even my low quality MP3s sound much better with this set of speakers.

Fuuu, getting x6 drool.gif drool.gif

My x4 use as my dekstop speaker, very powerful already.
x5 audited, more bassy. x6 can reach lower bass note.

Are you using it with any DAC? The X4 sounds awesome when paired with my 6 years old iMac. However, sounds meh only when paired with Asus maximus V formula onboard hmm.gif

Pricing has not been set. Costing not done yet...busy bee

Anybody with RM 2k and is really looking for the best experience for a "desktop" speaker, this is it. It's very hard to explain the sensation of listening to these speakers. There are a ton of brands and speakers out there, but somehow the X4 just disappears and has the perfect size for a desktop/nearfield speaker.

Come back 1-2 months later to audition the X5, we will burn it in everyday for over a month

Still trying out the best configuration for x4. As it is still new, it is still not sounding as good as the fully burned in ones at Cyntrix. sweat.gif

Yup, using 3.5mm with onboard sound on Asus MVF. Somehow it is not as bassy compared to pairing with my 6 years old iMac. Perhaps iMac uses better onboard sound chip hmm.gif

Now i am redownloading most of my songs in FLAC format. Just tried out Zee Avi - Siboh Kitak Nangis. Sounds slightly better than my 192k MP3. (maybe becuz my onboard can't drive these speakers)

Thinking of getting USB DAC first since i am still noob in audiophile. Btw between T-muso DAC PCM2704 and Light DAC 24/96 Sabre ES9023, which should i buy? I am listening mostly to classical music, with occasional R&B and rock.
