QUOTE(keyoke @ Mar 27 2013, 07:21 AM) yea gonna place it further away from war when i got my speaker stands ready. any recommended clearance which i shld place the satellites away from the wall (Friend placed it 5cm away from the wall, mine is ard 3-4cm)? not possible i put the speaker 30cm away from the wall rite? lols! The h10 is tight... but its hot lol! So, does it still sound harsh, or already better than the m50w? How does the speaker perform while watching movies and gaming? I know swan speakers would be amazing for music but not too sure about movie and gaming. Can comment a bit about those? Your responses are greatly appreciated cyntrixtech heavyarm ss15 got demo for H4? Since they dont seem to have h5 demo according to your previous post. QUOTE(ben3003 @ Apr 22 2013, 01:28 PM) seriously speaking, x3 give me better positioning effects, like the movie sound come from left right is more noticable compare to my sp2500.. oh ya, i forgot u owned sp2500 also before!!! positioning is great now itself(i guess i will be even more amazed of it later with the H4 ) but the most worrying of all is bass performance while watching movies and playing games I dont think I can play a movie with the demo speakers right? music can la...

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Apr 22 2013, 01:37 PM) haha u wn change also? h4 very exp ><i only use this speaker while outstation and at home as a bed side stereo i think maybe my sp2500 is not separate enough.. gonna buy a new, bigger desk lol.. btw, how to pair x3 with hivi sub? is it doable? oh, so you have both? nice!! thing is my sp2500 is in hospital now lol. So I have been looking around for a replacement and stumbled upon swan and the H4 intrigues me. twice the price of sp2500 minus the sub i know T200B can pair with sub, X series not sure

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Apr 22 2013, 02:30 PM) yup i have both i saw the website site say can pair with subwoofer but i dont know how they going to do it haha.. gonna see how they hook the sub to pc. SP2500 i believe it still sound very nice when u need the deep bass for movies and gaming.. but if you wanna get a sub, the H4 cost more than the X3 yup, SP2500 is one really good speaker I am hoping keyoke can tell a lil bit about his experience since Im kinda skeptical that heavyarm will have a H4 connected to a H6 sub lol.

QUOTE(mizumi @ Apr 22 2013, 04:22 PM) Got a set of H5 + H10 sub coming sometime this week. Will post my impressions of them once they have been burnt in. From what I heard from Keyoke, his H4 is sounding much better now. Seems like he's happy with the setup. Only gripe is with the temp of the units. As for the sub connection, any sub with RCA passthrough should work fine. Although cyntrix has mentioned the sound like imaging may be compromised when pairing H subs with non H series like the T200. Personally haven't got the chance to test this so can't rly comment much. awesome!!cant wait for you review! don't forget to spam some unboxing pictures too for me, the temps and the fact that I will actually need three plugs for it is the real issue, so hopefully this speakers are actually better than the sp2500 when it comes to bass performance.

QUOTE(CyntrixTech @ Apr 23 2013, 10:07 AM) Terribly sorry about that, please bear with us a little bit longer. We are at the point where we MUST get everything done at the new place before we can do anything else. It's something that we must get done in order to move forward. Do you think everything will be ready by mid may?

QUOTE(CyntrixTech @ Apr 23 2013, 11:07 AM) For the Hivi section, it'd be READY for audition next week. Saturday Carpet comes in and we'd start setting things up. Some decoration panels and sound dampening materials will not be ready so there may be a lot of internal reflection. There's also a rack for smaller speakers like X3, M10, and etc that we haven't built Good news!! Do you think you will have H4 for demo? better yet connected to a H6

QUOTE(keyoke @ Apr 24 2013, 08:03 AM) MIne is connected to a h10. And i assure u it definitely sounds better then sp2500. To me sp2500 is a piece of junk. Colorful and fake sounding satellites, bass sounds hollow and fake too. Pleased with my setup. Bass suffice both gaming and movies definitely If I heard that 2 months ago I would be angry, but now,I'm pleased you said that My real disappointment with the sp2500 is that you can't feel the bass, you can hear it but it doesn't give you that chest rumbling feel. Other than that its fine only because I've never really hard a better setup lol. Guess I'm gonna put it up for sale soon! This post has been edited by arslow: Apr 24 2013, 09:03 AM

QUOTE(ktek @ Apr 24 2013, 10:26 AM) i suggest sp2500 put corner because it is ported sub, need wall reflection to gain deep bass. h10 is seal sub. no port u can try 1 "back wall" reflection instead of 2 wall (such as corner) should give u cleaner bass line & less annoy outside ur room. haha isnt the sp2500 a sealed+ported sub hybrid? "With the 4th Order design, Corsair makes some interesting tradeoffs to achieve better overall bass response. The woofer is sealed, but not exposed to the outside. Instead it fires into another chamber, which is then tuned and ported to the outside. This has several advantages. First of all is the tightness and response of the bass due to the sealed speaker unit. The second is that the tuned port will only pass through the specific range of sound intended by the designers. The third is that since the woofer is sealed, we do not experience the same type of “huffing” through the port. The only real disadvantage here is the required use of more power to achieve adequate sonic pressure to get to the volume levels desired. Hence the need for 120 watts of power to the sub." source

QUOTE(CyntrixTech @ Apr 24 2013, 11:10 AM) Despite whatever the media claims, you can put the huge sub beside an M50W and after listening to both you will know what to bring home. I will take your words for now does the H4 weigh 4kg for EACH satellite?

cyntrixtech lets say if I had a choice to go for either H4 + H10,or H5 + H6,which one would be a better, more logical buy for a pretty small room? Or is the safest is to just go for H4 + H6?need an honest opinion from you here

QUOTE(wim1983 @ Apr 30 2013, 12:25 PM) Hi all, I am planning to get subwoofer for my M200MKII, any suggestion? The price for H6 sub is too expensive for me thanks Thing is if you get a different brand sub, you might end up with something which doesn't blend well with your mk2. But if you must, maybe a second hand polk audio sub or something? But maybe try to get a second hand H6. Or maybe even audioengine s8.

QUOTE(wim1983 @ Apr 30 2013, 04:13 PM) hmm, I dun get it why subwoofer much more expensive than speakers itself, so ridiculous.. I am also puzzled lol. But i guess those swan subs are really something that they are asking such a huge price for it But the thing is, if you get another brand and it sounds wrong later, no point also :/

QUOTE(ktek @ Apr 30 2013, 04:43 PM) what i feel is H6 not worth the price, unless buyer really tight in limited placement space. becos for bass, size does matter. not only for the sound level, but includes accuracy, distortion & dynamic range. can aim for entry level home theater sub.. make sure it is active type with input /output connection that u needed to pair with main speaker btw, standard active subwoofer have 3 basic control: crossover, phase, volume What about H10?just abit more for a 25hz rated sub with 10 inch driver?
