Just bought 1010 few weeks ago from vannus, wanna ask if there's an obvious difference if I get a DAC and changing the cable?

Maybe with a different source but for cable on a sub rm 300 speaker...forget about it.

Hmm...going passive huh? Suggestions wise, don't know where to start.

I prefer less clutter so actives are the way to go for me. No more upgrades for me in the near future. H5/H10/ZxR combo working well enough for me now. If I were to upgrade in the future will probably be going for higher tier actives like Genelec 8040/8030a or Adam A7x. If possible would definitely want to ABX test X6 and these speakers.

so happy got back my repaired M50W

but I am so upset and tired after plug in everything and switch on, I see burning smoke come out, freak me out

Cyntrix, what happen here? Sienz, I have to travel back to Subang Jaya for repair again, so tired and sick of this

Hope I won't see smoke coming out from my sub when I receive it. Almost one month, don't know where Pos Malaysia bring my speaker to.

Just close the power everytime no use it, suspect the power is not stable

I can absolutely agree, the X6 is FANTASTIC!!!
I have listend for a week now and I am thrilled with them.

Fuuuu u bought X6?

For RM1k budget, what suitable for music and gaming? To be spesific, music> gaming. Tried M50W before, not really impressive. Plus, the problem is the bass behind the sub so it's something I want to avoid.

Fork out another 1k
Get x4. Or u want deep bass get h4+h6 if want seal sub get h10.
Total for h4 setup around 2.k+ with sub.

Any sound card or DAC? Or gooding enough out of the box?

Mind to write up a short review of the X6 speakers? Kinda interested in it. Any QC problem so far? Coz from the feedbacks here it seems that this Swans product seems quite fragile.

I memang tarak suka M50W, M200 Mark II is so much better for music (entry level Hifi quality) but lacking a subwoofer.

And try to spend a good amount on DAC too

Have you try Swan M200MKIII? Kinda in my budget, look interesting. IINM, it's one of Swan flagship right? Or I'm wrong.

Thats Swan Flagship, now Hivi + swan flagship is X6

Swan Flagship = M200MK3
HiVi Flagship = T200B

HiVi + Swan = X6
