very true..if you disarmed but you did not open the door, it will auto arm back.

i am just wondering how can the door auto lock with the key inside the car..with the engine running or with the engine off?

not sure bout that, someone did experience it , i forgot who , dhuang ? tongue.gif
maybe an error for that guy case, can test it tho, of course when second fob in my hand tongue.gif

That is new information to me bro. Thanks! I set it manually coz it seems like my FC is better that way.  thumbup.gif

Again from my understanding..it's the other way round in fact especially at a lower blower speed. If we set the blower speed manually at low speed (not at the optimum speed), more time is needed to cool the car's interior, thus the compressor will run for a longer period to cool down the interior. If we set to auto mode instead, the AC system will set blower speed automatically to the optimum speed (to cools down the car optimally), thus shorten the compressor running time (good for compressor in long term) whistling.gif

Less compressor running time = better FC biggrin.gif

So..choose your 'mazhab' wisely tongue.gif

IMHO this only a safety feature set by proton if we forgot to open it back while we driving, it will auto open it for us, while the auto fold when we lock our car is just a mere indicator to check "did i lock my car already ? "
*
Ya..it's a good feature for us, but on the other hand..it's a good 'feature' for car thieves also to indicate that the car is in unlock mode (if we forgot to lock the car) when they (the thieves) saw that the side mirror is in unfold position..sure easy target for them sweat.gif

I've been thinking, the area anywhere below our chest usually I don't feel that much either the heat or the cold but from the chest & upper part i.e. my head especially is always hot. Donno whats the wisdom of detecting the temp below there while the one upper is still hot.
*
Set the angle of the cool air blowing from the vents to your head..sure got cold head..lolz tongue.gif

for me..if park car under hot sun..first thing i do is to open all windows..then switch on a/c..blower speed at medium..then set the a/c vent to shoot lower angle as possible..the cool air will push hot air up and out through window. this is because hot air is lighter than cool air. so, this will speed up time for cool air to replace hot air. if have sunroof, then it is more effective.

very sorry for my really broken english.. blush.gif

"tp set it at a lower speed"? I cant digest this statement bro. tp = temperature?

From my understanding, if u set the temp to say 25C, the compressor will operate as it is regardless u set it in 'auto blower speed' mode or 'manual blower speed' mode. So i believe the "not good for the compressor in the long run" if using auto mode is out of the equation..unless u said "not good for the blower in the long run"  rolleyes.gif

tp is to....yes blower and not compressor....

This is one logic thinking too. hmm.gif Hmm.. So it's either:

1) Set to Auto = FC High
If set to auto, ac compressor works really hard to cool down the cabin then when it slow down edy
a lot of fuel has been used as a result.

2) Set to Manual = FC High
Manually ac compressor will need more time to cool down the cabin thus in the end resulting in usage of too
much fuel oso.

So which school of thought should I follow? Mat79 maybe has the final answer to this..

Again, this is logic thinking oso. Just that cant get enuff angle from the right side blower..

I'm more onto the auto type. Yes, it work hard for the first couple of minute, after that, it will lower the compressor usage to the lowest possible just sufficient to maintain the temperature. However it really depends on car air-cond ECU tho. Civic work hard for a couple of minutes then lower it to min...almost soundless after that, did no raise it up and down a few times like mentioned in one of the post above.

Maintaining a set temperature will force the compressor to work at a set time regardlessly. More wastage, I think. As mentioned before if ECU was program right, it will save FC when using auto but when not optimize, more wastage using auto.
