hai!!!!just ordered my own preve exec..will get the car this saturday..just wanna ask what are the things to check when i get the car..really appreciate the help guys

This feature is useful for parking spaces that are tight but not wide car porches in double storeys, bungalows, semi detached where the more important concern is to see the side whether going straight and to avoid hitting the gate. A minor inconvenience as we can always press the unfold button. Just need to understand the rational of setting the speed at 5km/h.

last time i track this feature can only autofold when we move forward , or did everyone found out already that even when we reversing it will autofold too , in same speed of course , its occurs to me twice accidentally lol

i would prefer once you start the engine, it auto unfold..

if im not mistaken, bro shahriman at fb mention that altis can do the folding too but with button trigger, not really a fuss when need it to open it back by button , but hey the autofold when locking the car is cool right ?

yup cool...wait until the warranty expired..

can be done by add an extra module...
like the one i using... not only control the side mirror fold and unfold ,
but also can do auto unfold while acc on and follow your alarm on off.
but i didnt wire them up... manual fold all the way.

where to get the module?

btw the cool only last few weeks only , after that feel boring already lol

if not mistaken altis also have this but need to switch on and off by button ,
IMHO this only a safety feature set by proton if we forgot to open it back while we driving, it will auto open it for us, while the auto fold when we lock our car is just a mere indicator to check "did i lock my car already ? "

but hey this is just my opinion , ada pun ok , tak ada pun sama sahaja ^^

i think it is a universal thing...it meant for cruze. but can use on inspira. but for preve , need wiring diagram, else dont know which wire to tap

i think this is not true..sometimes folded but is unlocked..like you forgot something after you armed it and you unarm it again to get the thing but you forgot to arm back..

Ya..i have said about this also previously. From my observation, the auto climate control only controls the blower speed automatically but not the air intake mode, vents selection & AC/Fan only mode. But the Preve aircond is powerful nonetheless.

When i set the aircond on auto mode on a hot sunny day (after parked the car under the sun for sometime), the fan will blast to its maximum speed for several seconds & then slowing down for several seconds then max speed again for several seconds. This behavior happen continuously for several minutes until the inside temp went down (then the blower speed will stabilize). I dont know whether this is normal or abnormal..anyone able to verify this?

I prefer tp set it at a lower speed, putting auto mode is not good for the compressor in the long run.

i do aware of it, just for 1st time arm only, but I'm sure most of us when came back to pick up thing and arm it back and me myself sometimes press lock button twice

this case i'm not sure if applicable after we left our car without arming the car ,
but when we unarmed the car but didn't get in to the car,
the car will arm it's self , the period I'm not sure how long, but occurs to me quite a few times

From my understanding, if u set the temp to say 25C, the compressor will operate as it is regardless u set it in 'auto blower speed' mode or 'manual blower speed' mode. So i believe the "not good for the compressor in the long run" if using auto mode is out of the equation..unless u said "not good for the blower in the long run"

very true..if you disarmed but you did not open the door, it will auto arm back.

i am just wondering how can the door auto lock with the key inside the car..with the engine running or with the engine off?

When I looked back at the Car's manual, noticed that the Room temp detector or Temp Sensor as they call it were situated just in front of your left knee when u're sitting in driver seat. U'll notice a small rectangle placed there as the sensor.

I've been thinking, the area anywhere below our chest usually I don't feel that much either the heat or the cold but from the chest & upper part i.e. my head especially is always hot. Donno whats the wisdom of detecting the temp below there while the one upper is still hot.

That is new information to me bro. Thanks! I set it manually coz it seems like my FC is better that way.
