Regular Senior Member 1,689 posts Joined: Jan 2003	Just came back from my ecu remap, can really feel the pick up lag is very much improve but during slowing down can see the rpm hovering around 1200rpm before update its around 950rpm. Overall improve a lot from pick up n lag is very much less but have to go one more time becos my car 4 side power window is on the recall list.

Actually, already being done since exora launch where by post production car still houvering around even after launch to check whether any fault with mass production compare to pre production n prototypes. All complaints n comments are highly appreciated. Seems the 'internet division' are doing their jobs. Happy to see it. Hopefully, this will continue n being better overtime n inline with commited to be better. Bye all one more time. Time to take a break, away from bzness that quite occupied for long.

Hopefully not » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « latest news....i went to ipoh from seremban (whr i stay) on 5nov. after reach ipoh i had lots of running around to settle some issues so i was using the car continuosly. then suddenly at night the car stalled in the middle of the road. it could not restart at all. went out & check all the usual things n everything seem ok. then i called the i-care 24 hrs assistance n they asked me to dismantle both battery terminals & reconnect after 15 minutes which i did but still could not start. they don't have any towing assistance so they asked me to call my insurance company for towing. they towed to the nearest proton edar workshop. next day morning i went n the technicians could not find what the problem exactly was. the car could never be started,when you push the button there is engine cranking sound but it would not start. by afternoon they found out that the spark plugs have chipped so they knew it cannot be repaired on same day as they need open the engine. they gave me a relief car to travel back to seremban. so far no news & m pretty dissapointed that the engine could fail on the 3 months old brand new car. hmmm i mean to say that the spark plug has broken a bit...its not plug problem..they said the cylinder head has craked...so they are weighing the option of just changing the cylinder head alone or change the entire engine...
