thanks but ...... still no indicator of whether it is a modified / improved Persona engine.
*
a redesigned component that makes it an improved version of Persona engine in terms of longevity. Some of the IAFM+ components are strengthened, such as the main actuator which is made out of metal now, instead of plastic in the old IAFM.

"Although based on the existing engine family, retaining many of the key features like bore size, block height, cam positions etc, the vast majority of the components were replaced or modified in some way."

Taken directly from Lotus Proactive magazine.

That one is for CFE.

The IAFM+ still retains the 1597cc configuration.

Ada..  everyday baca thread ni.  brows.gif
Ohh..  doh.gif

I also wondered what is the "+" for the IAFM+.
*
if wanna say it adds power, no it doesn't.
if wanna say it adds driving experience, its still the same.

The only thing it adds is better materials for better "quality". So, safe to say the + represents longevity biggrin.gif

HAHAHA... XD

quite rare to see goldfries in this thread...few years back often see him in hardware questions and answers section...

well, this is a forum anyway. Each person will have their own sweet spot. Then once in a while, when there's a purchase decision to be made, then they will venture out of their sweet spot, ask some questions and gather feedbacks at another spot. Once the purchase has been made, then the nest step is to pasang ini pasang itu. Then they will back to their sweet spot. They rarely comes back to the other spot till a problem arise. tongue.gif

Even order to buy parts...never call me back. I went to one small dealer SC in Taman Megah...they got the parts and call me after a week.

iridium spark plug is individually packed, usually 4 pieces in a box. hence, the individual pricing in proton system.

In Cose now. The layout have all changed. The registration counter have moved to the old waiting n payment area. They have took down the preve customer counter and added new 'body and paint' counter. The service parking area also have moved to behind area. There are 12 service counters now. Didn't know there're shuttle service from Cose to subang parade vice versa.

Now waiting to be attended...

at least it rusts. That creates a peace of mind. Coz at least I know Proton is using metal for that part, instead of plastic.

QUOTE(sanadi @ Oct 1 2012, 07:54 PM)
That is liquid nitrogen. The nitrogen gas in tyres is used in airplanes and F1 cars. There are 2 main reasons:

1. The expansion rate is linear with temperature
2. The expansion is minimal compared to plain air

However, air is already ~70% nitrogen.

I just use normal air (it's free!)
*
Nissan GTR use it also, thats why all cars now also wanna use nitrogen.
