LG IPS224T vs Dell U2312HM. Is it worth adding around rm 170 to get U2312HM + 5 years warranty? LG IPS224T got how many years warranty? got 1 to 1 exchange if got any problems?
*
This is where the differences is, Dell get 1-on-1 exchange, if LG you have to return to manufacturer, wait about sometimes a week if unlucky up to a month or more.
Choose Dell for its warranty otherwise just take the LG if you just want value for money. "Can use can liao" sweat.gif

If warranty and support is important , then have to pay premium to Dell for it.

Definitely, Dell's warranty service is by far waaaay better than LG's. but overall, Dell had LG manufacturing their IPS panels if im not mistaken. hmm.gif

So quality wise, pretty much similar except the warranty part only

Definitely satisfied, great viewing angles, good colour reproduction. No defects on first purchase too biggrin.gif

But the stand is shaky :/ and there are issues such as ghosting, or its just that my eyes are bad sweat.gif

Got my U2713HM from CyntrixTech today.

Real nice monitor but I miss the colours from my Dell 2007WPS, a S-IPS panel. Gonna take a while to try out different profiles.

It's not necessary or mandatory, but they are better in a lot of ways compared to TN panel screens.

So I guess I'll do fine with my current LED monitor which only has an analog port on it

We toss in the adapter FOC. Alternatively, S2340L would be a better buy, it takes HDMI and has analog audio out.
