was browsing through some website and found a cheap 2560x1440 IPS 27 ( at around $ 350 to 370 usd and also currently they have free shipping AND also bulk option iinm). There any many seller selling it at ebay but only 1 with free shipping currently.
My tangan so gatal after reading this lol~ read source 2 for more feedback at page 1 and sry if someone posted about it before

edited: if u are in korea u can get them for 250+ only iinm lol~ it is basically a steal, though their only downside is on their warranty issue. Read overlock source for more info.

source 2

best source imo

Achiva Shimian, Yamazaki and also another brand, Crossover. Any of these in mass numbers locally will make all LCD so much cheaper.

Yes, they are very cheap. But i got damn unlucky buying the lcd. My panel got marked as lcd tv. Fedex was a pain in the behind and they wouldn't help renegotiate. End up paying a lot more than i would have.

If you are buying, just use poslaju, so if anything happens, can go talk with ketam and make rayuan.

what was the total damage (after kastam tax) when mistaken as lcd tv?

Ketam asked for 35% tax.
The price end up pretty close to a u2713hm

35%? wow, if kena then really need icon_question.gif

If was able to declare as pc parts, what would likely be the tax from kastam?

Can anyone suggest me 3 Good monitors for AMD Eyefinity setup ?
I prefer the shiny screen with LED backlight.
LED monitors would be better .

If warranty and support is important , then have to pay premium to Dell for it.

Got my U2713HM from CyntrixTech today.

Real nice monitor but I miss the colours from my Dell 2007WPS, a S-IPS panel. Gonna take a while to try out different profiles.

I am using U2713HM and here's my take on the 27" offerings from Dell

U2711 - buy if (1) got budget or (2) do graphic editing
S2740L - buy if (1) can live with the gloss or (2)budget constraint
U2713HM - buy if above conditions not met

Buying U2713HM (2550X1440 res) for me is something like buying a 1000+W power supply unit, it is primarily for future proofing.

*remembered I still need to post a picture of the monitor for CyntrixTech

U2412M only RM899
--Color gamut 82% (CIE1976)
Wonder big difference or not between the 2 ??

price is indicative of quality. question to answer is if you need the additional specs.

Really contemplating on getting a 27" monitor or a 32"/40" LED TV,

Cant find much 27" monitor reviews/guides out there to be able to make a final decision,
Is there any sifu's out there that may advice/enlighten me on this?

Thanks alot guys!

I owned a 42inch plasma tv before which I used for pc gaming along with wireless keyboard, mouse and xbox controller setup. Currently I'm on U2713HM dell monitor. If you are planning to use the monitor as a pc monitor, get the 27 inch. If you are doing console gaming, I would likely no go anything below 42 inch.

i read comments that for high resolution PC monitor, xbox got problem..display black screen...can help confirm?

the 42inch plasma was fullHD res (1920x1080). rm3k back then. the only thing i kept from that wireless gaming setup was the xbox controller.
