Alliance Virtual. received said unable to accept my apply

Yes, every months got a rounded down, from few thousand to 40-50k, always forget to check with CS.
Anyone know what's this rounded down for?

Me too, just been reject last week

spent RM3,030 top up ewallet
system x8 to all
gets 24,240 TBP
rounddown to 24,030 since the extra rm30 is not entitle 30x8 but 30x1

thus, at the rounddown column, you will see 210 (Deduct)

same goes to all the online spending.

you probaby spend RM9k+ online. the first 3k entitle 8x, the remaining 6k * 8 is removed and give you 6k * 1 instead. therefore you will see 40k-50k TBP deduction.

Not sure apply again or wait longer period, example 2-3month
Previously 6m ago i apply also reject. but that time got UOB Pre and SC simply.
this time all that card cancel already.

My eWallet limit of RM3,000 has already been maxed out. I'm now considering fully utilizing 3K online transaction through SPayLater.

Just to confirm — is the TBP awarded based on the posting date rather than the transaction date?

I have a transaction to make on 30 July. If I use SPayLater and then choose the “Pay Early” option via ShopeePay with VI, will there be any early settlement fees from Shopee?

I've just enabled the SPayLater feature for my account, but unfortunately, it's a bit late for me to use it with VI. I'm planning to apply for a VCC to continue using this method going forward.

I missed the boat this time around and thinking if there is a need to rush to convert. Assuming that the annual fee can still be waived, think we can still keep this card?

Replace with VCC. Gonna cancel VI next year before my af date if really cannot waive. Need to look for a replacement lounge access card.


The usual advice is to convert only when you have plans to use your miles. You risk miles devaluation if it's just sitting in your account without being used, especially for Enrich which happened many times in the past

Thanks for checking. I set a task on my Google calendar to call again 2 weeks before the AF date, just in case. I have no qualms canceling the card but I still have 3 months EPP after the AF date.

Based on posting date, which means yesterday is actually the last day to make any payment. No early settlement fee

I just got my Visa Platinum today, just in time. The process is quite tedious compared to other banks to get an additional card. Albeit this being a lower card. Have to fill up the forms and resubmit all my details again via email, and their processing time takes more than a week and finally got it this morning. It was so easy with Maybank.
